I don't see diving for the ball you fumbled as an example of leadership. If he sat in front of the media and said that fumble is unacceptable and vow to do better, that is an example of being a leader. Glad he recovered, glad he scored the winning TD.

Anyone who likes to discredit Dak for his bad play (which is sometimes correct) is one thing. But to say he isnt a leader is another.

Him landing on that fumble last night and sacrificing his body is something that QBs dont usually do. Cam Newton didnt do it in the freaking SB and his career never recovered.

Say what you want about Dak and a lot of it is warranted. Him jumping on that loose ball last night was a testament to his leadership.
leadership?

you keep using that word....

Nobody questions Daks leadership.
The guys who criticize him do so because of the turnovers, the bad decisions, the inability to overcome BS to win, not because he won’t jump in a fumble or be a leader.

Hard to evaluate his performance, the 3 turnovers were indisputably his fault but he ended the game like someone that wasn't going to get denied victory. It was not a typical Dak game at all.

Rex Ryan said the same thing. Guys do make business decisions…..
Happily, we've never seen Dak make a "business decision." Not to mention that, if he didn't make every effort humanly possible to get on the fumble last night and subsequently get the ball into the end zone - and succeed - it would have been excruciatingly bad for his reputation. A loss was destined to be laid squarely at his feet; the press & usual talking heads would have had a field day all week.

That's not true. His leadership is questioned all the time here. His turnovers are way overblown too. He actually has one of the best td/turnover ratios.

Not overcoming BS and elevating the team, as well as poor decisions are valid at times. Hes bad at getting rid of the ball.

Will this make Dak’s career highlight film? Maybe also that time when he picked up that paper cup and threw it in the garbage can.

That was amazing!

Dak’s pass to Tolbert after a 15 play drive to basically run out the clock and scored the TD. That won the game but the play that showed the true Dak Prescott was when he recovered Dowdle’s fumble the play before. I’ve seen QB’s in a Super Bowl not jump on that ball. That’s called leadership.

No matter how bad you think he played, and 3 turnovers is bad, he never gave up and kept fighting. Can’t ask for anything more other than for the fans not to give up so easily.
You just can’t stop yourself from Dak love can you. The true Dak showed up mediocre against a good defense thank goodness the Steelers had a second string poor QB playing for them. Dak the dud pulled one out against another not so good team, good for him he really backed up his talk and looked so much better.

He beat the Steelers in Pitt on the final drive of the game....man some of you need to find a new hobby..there will be no joy for you here for at least 4 more years...Why even put yourself through this?

I'll be one of the first to eat some humble pie. Dak played with a ton of heart last night. He made some poor throws and at least 2 critical mistakes but he stepped up EXACTLY when this team needed him. It looked a lot like one of Tony Romo's hero/goat/hero games.
