Why does it always have to be a love/hate Dak thing? When we win everybody loves him, we lose everybody hates him. Follow the game thread and when he was stinking up the joint no lovers were to be found, they were hiding under their pillows. This guy was there praising, but also throwing him under the bus.

Dak was awful for almost the entire game, and in years past, this wild ending would not work in our favour. Does Dak get credit for the last-minute drive? For sure, but he's no hero, albeit not one objective Cowboys fan thought the last-second TD would happen. Hopefully, this changes this narrative, but the real hero is the guy who took in the biscuits but managed to break free for the TD.

Whatever crap he pulled before, in the end Dak won the game by doing that one last drive right. When that turns the game into a win I won't ask how much went wrong before. If not then it's just stats padding in garbage time.

So, props to Dak, he brought the 3rd win home. Let's give credit where it's due.

Just needs to do this in January now.
gonna need to do it before January more before he even gets a shot at January redemption.

Just asking for future reference even though i know you will not have the courage to answer

About 20% of 'fans' in here would rather lose and have Dak play bad so they can back up their agenda. It's gotten to be a very said place.
I have definite concerns about Dak, but I root for the team and him to do well.

Do you have the "Courage" to admit to a bunch of starngers on an internet forum that you fit in this 20%?..lol "Dont chicken out!" do i need to "Double
Dog" dare you to?..jesus some of you...

By the way, I created this thread with the title, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

For some reason, the mods changed it. No explanation so couldn’t tell you why.
that those two last plays...first...Dak quick awareness and it takes strength jumping on ball cause defender is strong and doing same thing....Dak recovers it...then we all saw it

4th down last play of game and Tolbert truly played like a tough #2 receiver....he was injured earlier but he caught that bullet and would not let defender punch it out....it was one of

the top 10 comebacks in Cowboy history....Dak could have lost confidence like that one QB who had number "1" and was actually league MVP i think 2015....i forget names...but

in super bowl rememeber he showed cowardness to jump on a fumbled ball and they lost it....but Dak looked like a linebacker with intensity to get that ball....then after that....only a

few seconds left and 4th down....and he through a bullet to Tolbert who had been injured on earlier play but pain or no pain and caught that bullet pass and gave it his all not to let

defender punch it out.......like i said earlier i am going to watch highlights on this game 10 times a day all week...Go Cowboys and How Bout Dem Cowboys!!!!!!!!!

He beat the Steelers in Pitt on the final drive of the game....man some of you need to find a new hobby..there will be no joy for you here for at least 4 more years...Why even put yourself through this?
so one game wipes out years of not getting it done?

mr gtb---- i understand bad things that happen in past come to mind and we feel bad....but we can choose to be just like a good defensive back and have short memories of negative stuff and enjoy a happpier life

Do we think Tolbert should be a 2 and Cooks the 3?

Yes, the team won which I was very happy about. I did however say "his performance" not the teams.
Pompey --- dear sir i dont know if you were cowboy fan in 2007...but Romo through 5 awful picks against Buffalo bills on Monday night football....but made miraculous comeback

to set kicker to kick winning FG last second.....we did not have as much internet or social media back then....but Romo did not get dogged like Dak does.....i wish people would have

honestly seen how much better a QB Dak is now witth footwork...shifting weight from back to front foot and throwing motion and seeing the field compared to 2016.....he has put in

so much hard work ...ok he made some bad mistakes....but i will take his tough character on a last minute chance to win game over anyone except Mahommes

mr Havic----i see Tolbert as our #2....he has proved himself to me...cooks has to get open more....i dont know where exact injury is but Tolbert suffered upper body injury before hauling

in that last play of game pass from Dak and gripped it like a Gorilla....he has passed the test in my opinion to be a decent #2....what are your thoughts??

Dak’s pass to Tolbert after a 15 play drive to basically run out the clock and scored the TD. That won the game but the play that showed the true Dak Prescott was when he recovered Dowdle’s fumble the play before. I’ve seen QB’s in a Super Bowl not jump on that ball. That’s called leadership.

No matter how bad you think he played, and 3 turnovers is bad, he never gave up and kept fighting. Can’t ask for anything more other than for the fans not to give up so easily.
When CeeDee was hollering at him on the sideline, I thought he was done. Glad he wasn't.

Newsflash:
  1. QBs sometimes fumble during sacks, especially when hit on two different sides. It isn’t considered a QB flaw. It’s part of the game for that position.
  2. QBs throw INTs, especially when taking deep shots. Personally, I felt Tolbert pulled up for a jump ball instead of running through the catch where he could have caught it or prevented the INT by Porter who did not stop running.
  3. The first INT in the corner was a very bad decision no matter what he thought he saw. That’s a fact! It was a bad INT, but guess what? Every QB to ever play in the NFL has thrown bad ints.
Until the end of the game, we had no run game, every play depended on Dak’s arm. That is a recipe for turnovers. Throwing over 40 passes is not good for any team. Dak moved the ball all game long from the first possession. Yes, he had turnovers, but drives also ended due to penalties, missed blocks, and a missed FG. Brian Anger punted only 1 time in this game which we won, thanks to a 70 yard, 15 play drive that began with 4:56 on the clock and ended with only 20 seconds left.

But so many so called fans only want to focus on the negatives. You are never happy with anything; complaining and negativity is just who you are. It’s really sad.

We are not talking enough about Dowdle's fumble. Had Dak not recovered that the game would have ended in a loss for Dallas. Dowdle was more careless with the football running into a crowd than Dak was when he was strip sacked.

When Luepke fumbled in the Miami game last year down at the 1 yards line he never got another hand off for the rest of the season. I am all for second chances but Dowdle needs to tuck that ball in and push across the goal line or go down. He cannot fumble that ball like that down there.
