Yeah I can't defend him on this one. That 2nd quarter int was just a backbreaker IMO. We are about to score to end the half, and then get the ball back to start the 3rd with some momentum.......and he throws a brutal int.

And Dak was horrific and gave them 6 pts and cost us 3. That swing wins us the game.
Dak didn’t help with his early mistakes, but making us 1 dimensional made it easier for them to defend us. Losing Pollard was a killer, also outside of Lamb we got nothing

and Purdy basically didn't do anything, he handed it off, threw slants to open players, and didn't throw picks
Didn’t throw picks was the key to that where our 40 million dollar one threw 2 that cost us 6 points

12 total pts. Two interceptions. One in the red zone. Interceptions led to 6 points. Poor throw to Lamb down the field. Poor throw to Gallup down the field. Open receivers missed. Too quick through progressions. Big-eyed throughout. He was seeing ghosts. Outplayed by a rookie w/ 10 games under his belt. Sickening...
And after yet another display showing what most if us already know we will have to suffer the same discussions about the same guy next year... and get called out every time we beat up on the mediocre teams.

He killed us tonight...and has done the same in the past. When is a failed experiment finally called as such?
We could trade him post-June 1st but otherwise, we can't do anything until the end of next season and it's still costly

I’m ready for the sounds from the sidelines where players look knowingly at each other when Dak throws an awful pass

I know the niners are a great defense. But he just didn’t play well enough and I can’t defend it.

Some missed opportunities and a couple bad turnovers. That’s the difference in the game at this stage of the playoffs.

He just didn’t make enough plays and the mistakes he did make were huge and costly.

I can no longer defend him.

Mea culpa and all that.

He will likely be the QB another year or two. But once they can fiscally. Move on and try someone else. Just no more dumpster diving. Draft a QB high. That’s all I ask. Go for the green to put it in golf terms.

Gonna be a long offseason.
