He does not have the wheels for it. He runs stiff and awkward and was more lumbering and pure will on his runs.

Also, he is hesitant to pass sometimes so I wouldn't really call him a gunslinger either.

All the eye test tells you is that Dak missed throws and got sacked a bunch. Play calls, wr routes, defensive coverages, etc. aren't apart of the eye test.

Most people/fans don't understand football enough to know what they are looking at. Experts exists in every field so that the uninformed understand what they are seeing.

No matter what is said on this board experts consistently rank Prescott anywhere from 7th best QB to as low as 12th. He isn’t nearly as good as an Allen or Mahomes but can get the job done with help. The two groups that would help him the most regressed drastically. The only two WR that would of suited up for this team last year are Ceedee and Brown because of special teams. The offensive line LT - Rookie who was supposed to start out at guard, LG - backup to last years back up. C- below average- RG - all pro - RT Steele and him 4 penalties. Prescott can be good but needs help just like most QBs in the league.

When you can look at Dak objectively you knew this is what it would look like the sec Cooper was let go and not replaced.

The way this board has such selective memory with Dak should be studied in phycology classes around the country. They think HE makes these guys better when in reality he's nothing without elite guys surrounding him.

He's in the 12-15 bracket. Anyone that places him at number 7 is off their head. That would mean he's above three of the following QBs:

Rodgers - has a ring and multiple MVP
Mahomes - has a ring
Allen - Top 5 QB in pretty much everybody's list
Brady - goat
Herbert - one of the great young QBs in the league and improving
Burrow - formed a winning culture and taken a previously bad team to a Superbowl
Jackson - former MVP, play maker
Wilson - has a ring
Stafford - has a ring

I can't have him above a QB that has won a ring or league MVP unless the QB in question has reached a Superbowl and perhaps there were mitigating circumstances. Prescott has been on the Cowboys for 6 seasons and only been part of a team winning 1 play off game on a couple of loaded rosters.

There is no way he's in the top 9. He just isn't and if people want to throw personal statistics out there then how is he better than Kirk Cousins?

Watson and Murray are playmakers. For me they are both above Prescott for that reason.

But for those obsessed with Prescott the absolute best he can be ranked and in reality he isn't a top 10 QB, is joint 10-15 with Watson, Murray, Cousins, Carr and Tannehill.

Moore wasn't calling plays to make the defense defend the whole field. The Bucs defense wasn't worried about the deep ball and they weren't covering the flats. That's how you end up getting three defenders around a ball thrown over the middle. The play calling has to loosen the defense up.

We should be throwing 6 go routes a game just to let teams know we will try them. On top of that we should be throwing to our RB's in the flat 8 times a game. You know that backwards pass Montana used to throw to Ricky Waters and Roger Craig. That's what I want to see us doing. That'll help let the defense know that they have to defend the whole entire field.

All-22 view tells a different story. He was bad but not as bad as people think. WRs and play design were worse.

What Dak could have done better was tuck it and run instead of waiting for the WR to get open running long developing routes.
There were tons of room in front of him to run because the Bucs rushed 3 or 4 and dropped back the rest most of the game.
Needed to get Bucs defenders to hesitate due to Dak possibly running. That would have helped the WRs to get open.

Folks didn’t have to make him look bad he did that all by himself . If all22 tells a different story you have no clue what you’re watching or you’re just making excuses and for that garbage game there is no excuses, I know it was the ankle from those shoes. LMAO at anyone can defend that.
