This is absolutely pitiful. What does everyone think happened to him? I cannot remember a worse performance from a quarterback and he has the pocket awareness of Chad Hutchinson. Maybe his games were as bad? That's been 20 years almost.

He looked a lot like he did the second half of last season as far as his misses go, so you have to wonder whether whatever was messing him up then (physically and/or mentally) is still doing the same thing now. Completely different QB than early last season or even early the season before.

Second, he also struggled at the beginning of the 2018 season when we had this weak of a receiving corps, so I don't think it's all on him.

That will fill the time frame, but would be much more appropriate and quicker video if the 4 plays Dak had success with were the focus.

Moore wasn't calling plays to make the defense defend the whole field. The Bucs defense wasn't worried about the deep ball and they weren't covering the flats. That's how you end up getting three defenders around a ball thrown over the middle. The play calling has to loosen the defense up.

We should be throwing 6 go routes a game just to let teams know we will try them. On top of that we should be throwing to our RB's in the flat 8 times a game. You know that backwards pass Montana used to throw to Ricky Waters and Roger Craig. That's what I want to see us doing. That'll help let the defense know that they have to defend the whole entire field.



How good can your QB be when play calling is horrible?

The proof is in the video. Just egregiously horrible. I agree 100%. This is Dak’s finale. The $160 million dollar bust and he is laughing in his $50 million mansion in Texas. He has butlers,chauffeurs,maids, chefs, mechanics, and all else except he cannot pass a ball accurately 20 yards. He and Zeke can live happily ever in their ill gotten mansions and realizing they pulled off the greatest bank heist in history.

I agree. He was healthy, there was no excuse for that jr varsity performance. This is year 7 and he missed embarrassingly easy throws. There are high school QBs in Texas who would’ve hit a lot of those throws. There’s no doubt this game would be the end of Daks career in Dallas if we had any owner other than Jerry. He is adamantly trying to prove that he is smarter than other people when the truth is he’s vastly dumber. The more he tries to prove he’s smarter, the uglier the pile of trash is on the field.

The first real pressure Dak has had to deal with in his pro career began the second half of last season, during his "slump". The season ended with the embarrassment against SF. Then the drama with Cooper. Now he has to deal with a lesser roster, with the expectation of at least winning the East and at least a playoff game. In spite of all the 'leadership' intangible BS, he is clearly not built to handle that pressure. The offense could have performed poorly for all the reasons being used to excuse him and I would have cut him some slack for that. I didn't see a good QB who went down swinging, fighting against the odds. I saw a guy who folded under that pressure. You can damn well bet his teammates did too.

He looked absolutely terrible. Just on things completely in his control, just a ton of really bad throws and decisions.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but perhaps Dallas wants to run out its first team offense in preseason next year. That looked like a group that hasn't played together in a competitive game (which they haven't).

Garrett tied a ball and chain around his leg to convert him into a pocket passer. It was a mistake because they converted him into something he's not.
