They are playing better than Dak is right now though.

I think Dak is a good QB, but not close to being the best in the NFC…at least not at this juncture. Dak needs a supporting cast to be successful; whereas that is not a requirement for elite QBs.

cousins and stafford are better! do you know there's a football team around the QB right? you think foles would have won a SB that year the eagles won? team makes a QB better unless you dont need it like a manning or brady, dak isnt nowhere in that category of HoF.

When will then Eagles slobbering begin…oh it already started…

Eagles have been outstanding so far …..but…..they haven’t played a road game in a month and the road games they’ve played have been squeakers.

I seem to remember us being 6-1 and 7-2 as some point last season and dispatched with ease by a wildcard team……I’m not buying into or out of the Eagles till later in the season

It was nice to see him heat up some against the Bears. But...we have seen this before....I'd say.

Let's get to the playoffs...and win a couple at least. Before proclaiming him the best one there.

(yes I know...team game....okay sure.)

Looked good the game before, and better against the Bears. If he’s healthy, no reason to believe he can’t return to form like he was the first half of last year.

And yea, like you said, how we perform in the playoffs is going to take a lot more than just Dak playing well.

Out of the current NFC teams in playoffs hunt , SF concerns me the most . They have only QB that’s been to a SB and a recent Champ game .

But yea, with LA, GB and Tampa down and the best 3 QB’s in NFC , it’s fair game and for the taking .

They also have CMac which greatly improves their offense. Gerapollo is also a very underrated QB. They drafted Trey Lance and he hasn't even sniffed the starting QB position in a long while.

I’d say that the difference between Prescott, Hurts,Cousins and Garap is marginal at best.

Jimmy G proven success in playoffs stands out the most to me. The fact he was just in champ game and been to a SB stands out,

Fun fact, in his 4 playoff wins, Jimmy has exactly 1 total td. In a game they won 27-10

In their sb run, he completed 17 passes for 200 yards COMBINED in their 2 wins.

Last season he threw zero tds in their 2 wins. That's not proven success, he played no part in their victories.

One playoff win in 6 years…you can’t make this stuff up. You are delusional!

I know...it's a team game. I get it.

But if you're gonna be crowned a real true awesome leader....yer gonna get pegged with this stat. If you want to dig deeper, then ask what Dak did to make 1 playoff win in 6 years NOT happen...e.g more than 1 win in 6 years.

I can;t say that he did...but I'm willing to listen to someone chime in that Dak was total ballin out the whole time and the rest of the team is to blame.

Dan Marino had zero Super Bowls. Nobody remembers anyone else from that team who didn't get the super bowl. I don;t know how much Dan contributed to NOT winning....but he surely was a great QB, that get's saddled with the blame like nobody else on the team does. It's how it works.

It's loser talk at this point, but I'd say Dak did more than enough to beat the Packers in 2016

Jimmy Garoppolo has a passer rating of 74.1 with 962 yards (137yds/game), 4 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, 60.8% completion % in 6 games in the playoffs in his career. In 5 out of 6 playoff games Garoppalo had a lower QB rating than his opponent. He has only been able to achieve a QB rating above 90 once in 6 games.

A perfect example of the fact that teams win games, especially in the post season, not QBs

Lol. Best QB in the NFC? He’s not even the best in the East right now. Currently, I’d take Danny Dimes and Hurts over him as both of them are doing more with less.

As for the rest of the NFC, Geno Smith looks great and I’d take him over Dak. Kyler Murray and Kirk Cousins are right there with him. Rodgers is under the weather but I’d still take him. Jared Goff too even though he’s on a disaster of a team.
Hurts may be doing more but I wouldn't say Hurts is doing it with less.

Who in the NFC do you consider elite?

Looky what we have here....

In my mind, there are 5 legitimate teams in the NFL right now. Buffalo, KC, Philly, Dallas, and San Fran. The rest are maybe average at best and mostly just gawd awful garbage. This is the weakest NFL I've seen in my lifetime.

As such, an interesting development is occurring. Dak Prescott might be the best QB of the NFC teams that make the playoffs. Seriously.

Unless Rodgers or Brady figure out how to resurrect their catatonic teams, the candidates are Jalen Hurts, Jimmy Garoppolo, Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones, Geno Smith, Marcus Mariota, Matt Stafford, and Dak Prescott.

Rodgers, Brady, and Stafford seem to be on the outside looking in. All three are running for their lives. So Dak and Cousins might the class of the NFC playoffs.

So attrition aside - and injuries will decide much of this - the Cowboys' ability to run the ball and play defense is quite formidable, along with Dak and his tight-end trio of goodness. Another wide receiver is unnecessary.

San Francisco is the scariest if they get it figured out. Philly is half good and half fraudulent because of a cupcake schedule, and none of the rest concern me in the least. Again, attrition aside.

Let Buffalo and KC laugh at the NFC for now; here's hoping the Cowboys can earn a chance to try them. Not a team in the NFL wants to go against this Dallas front if it's healthy come playoff time.

That's right! Dak can beat all of those stupid other QB's in the league in a chess match. Fake News.

Playoff time has not happened.
