Yeah it's all imagination lol

Ok. He wants to win multiple Super Bowls = GREAT!
He wants play and beat Brady = GREAT!

Dak wants to start off his career with THREE INCH HEADLINES... with very little in his pro resume!
He's pulling a RGIII.

Better walk the walk.... for talking the talk!

This isn't a headline. Did anyone actually watch this video or see the off site that this is posted on?

I don't think anyone did. He was interviewing with someone from another country that looked like a fan. This is posted on an off site. He was having fun. Nobody is covering this.

Geez this is supposed to be a fun post. I am convinced nobody watched the video.

Dak was asked who would win the Super Bowl. He praised Brady and said nobody beats Brady...after walking away he said "except me" jokingly.

What headlines has Dak made other than for his stellar play?

I automatically assumed it was meant in fun. How else could anybody reasonably take it?

Well, we've seen in this thread how some have taken it. lol

I guarantee nobody that thought that clicked the article or seen the video. It's not like this is some interview with Rich Eisen. It was him standing on the sidelines doing an 30 second interview with an offsite.

He said "nobody beats Brady" and the competition in him immediately regretted saying it so he said "except me".

Don't be sorry. If it happened, it happened. Why not enlighten me instead, since I don't really remember it?

I feel like even if I do, you or the other posters displeased with my remarks are just going to make excuses for them (the players) anyway.

When dez Bryant says the team is "Super Bowl ready", that's talking

When Romo says "we're winning the super bowl this year" regardless of where he was at the time (April receiving an award) , it's talking

When Joseph Randle decides to indirectly insult the player that led the league in rushing and insinuate he could possibly do better in certain aspects, it's taking.

When a rookie spends a decent portion of his press conference about how the offensive line will be the best in NFL history, it's talking. (Note: either Frederick or Tyron immediately downplayed the "best line" talk and spoke on behalf of the line stating they only want to be remembered for being the hardest workers. "

When Dez guarantees a win prior to a game by saying "come celebrate with me at my private mansion party after we get this win", that's talking (note: I attended the party and in all fairness, Dez was completely dejected because of the loss despite it being his birthday)

When you say "see you in February", it's talking

When you consistently say "we run the east" after a loss and you're 2-5, that's talking.

Trust me when I say I pray I'm wrong. I spend 1300 twice a year attending cowboys games and usually spend equally as much on Cowboys merchandise during the season. But from past experiences, minus the 2007 season where Crayton talked all year, the Cowboys generally are at their best when they aren't talking i.e. 2009 after losing TO and proving they didn't need him, 2014 with the "play together, stay together" motto and wanting to prove they could win in December, and this past year.

Saying things like "we're the only team that can beAt Atlanta" while your at the Pro Bowl just seems silly to me.

Different team every season. I don't want a team of trash talkers, I agree with you on that. Most of the instances you mentioned involved the 2014 season, nobody could've foreseen all the injuries we had that year.

Dak wasn't talking any trash at all. He was joking with an offbeat website. He helped them get some clicks.

I check Cowboys news constantly throughout my day. I found this article as a Facebook advertisement for a page I don't even like. I wish I didn't even share it on this board now.

Honestly what Dak stated was clearly for fun but Dez on the other hand was being serious.

The 2014 team did not talk at all in the off season or even during the year. If there was any talking it was about speaking how special the team was and how they love to play for one another.

The most talking the 2014 team did was when Dez went off after the Chicago game and stated how the media always bring up the boys record in December.

Like yourself, I'm sure Dak and Zeke made this season much better than most of us ever thought it would. The future really looks to be worth our optimism in view of how fortunate we were to escape a situation that might again have been disastrous. We were blessed to dodge that bullet.
We really were. Found a franchise qb without having to trade 3 first rounders for one. We didn't have to go years finding one.
