You must be a barrel of laughs on dates.

He has broken Bill Parcells QB Commandment #11.

11. Don’t be a celebrity QB – we don’t need any of those. We need battlefield commanders that are willing to fight it out, every day, every week and every season and lead their team to win after win after win.

This. This is not good.
He wasn't on some celebrity watch show parading around with some hot movie star, he was a spokesman for a cancer treatment awareness group. That is totally different.

Lol, c'mon man. This is for a good cause, and something he believes in. This is how he honors his mom. Hes using his celebrity status as a platform to do something positive. Good for him.

Nothing sad about it.

I appreciated his rookie season like all of you. I was even proven wrong on my initial evaluation of him.

But I doubt him still mainly because his rookie season was such an outlier. Simple logic says he will take a step back as teams prepare to deal with him. And I am sure he is doing his gosh darned hardest to keep that from happening.

I just happen to believe that my urging will impact his play one way or the other.

Does "simple logic" also suggest second year players are typically more successful than rookies?

Didn't stop Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, and Eli from winning rings.

I knew this would get the beatdown. Oh well.

I just think people are taking it for granted that Prescott will continue to build on what is a historical rookie campaign.

Especially with this tidal wave of accolades lately.

Maybe he will build on last year. Maybe he won't.

Whatever happens, it will have nothing to do with him appearing on GMA this morning.

No I get it he was really beyond expectations last year and there is clearly a chance of regression. But I expect improvement from Dak mainly because of his intangibles and experience.

As far as the hollywood thing, what hes done so far has been pretty controlled. I get where your coming from but I cant help being optimistic with this guy.

Simple logic would dictate to look at the performance arcs of other QBs to make a prediction of how a QB is going to perform in the future.

Who are these QBs that regressed in year 2? Wilson, Carr, Roethlisberger, Ryan, both Mannings, Winston, Luck, Tannehill, Mariota, Dalton, Stafford, Flacco, and Palmer didn't.

Sure there are Geno Smith, RG3, and Foles who did regress but the preponderance goes the other way and improves.

The sophomore slump is an old wives tale.

Wonder if Parcells would even consider this as going against his "rules". Sometimes people take things too far.

Hahah. You know his mom died of cancer right?

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, Alexander, because you make me LRL (Laugh Real Loud) sometimes. The alternative is that you're probably the biggest piece of **** on this board, which would be a real accomplishment, but I know you realize that so that's why it made me chuckle. A+ bait

Agreed. From the partying and shenanigans with zeke to clearly having other priorities than football after his rookie year you can tell its gone to his head.

What the hell are you talking about? This is a thread about Dak on GMA, promoting a cancer awareness organization/fundraiser.

Even the post you replied to was about Dak.

Sheesh, bro.

The guy is the face of the most popular franchise in the sports world, making only 600k a year. He should at minimum be making 15 mill. He takes on as many sponsorships as he can to offset his pay. He can only do this because of the year he had. He then goes out and does things to honor his late mother who died of a deplorable disease and all we can do is knock the guy.

I have no clue if he will take us to the Super Bowl or anywhere for that matter, but for RIGHT NOW, I don't blame him for anything he's doing.
