Even if Dak threw the TD there. They still lose. As terrible as the defense played and pedestrian the offense was. Dak’s pic was not the reason we lost. McCarthy thought Kellen Moore put Dak in bad situations. He put Dak in the proverbial bad situation.
McCarthy did not call a pass until the pick and did so and and burnt the clock with running plays specifically because he knew Dak would get picked. Even McCarthy has no faith in Dak. That is clear.

Just because there were three defenders in the area, that doesnt mean he was triple covered. Especially in the redzone where defenders are everywhere. If you dont believe me, look it up and educate yourself.

So if you wana call someone a moron, look in the mirror.
Yeah, throwing it to the guy with 3 defenders around him is the right call

Thought if he held it a second longer he woulda had the TE coming across the middle. Although not sure if that LB would have picked it up as well.

If they load up on Lamb and they did a good job on him I would have liked something sent to the teams 3rd rounder from last year .

hmmm, how can I explain it to you....they were rushing 4, so 7 dropped into coverage. so yeah, its possible somebody else wasn't free. most game our WRs weren't getting open in the end zone. there was plenty of that issue.

but with that said, he took a risk. I think one, Lamb or Gallup should have ran that route. they are much taller, better reach, which would allow the QB to make a higher throw and over the LB. Cook is only 5/10.

and yes, I probably would have gone to another WR too. not sure if any of them was open, but also keep in mind, that would have been much longer throw and different angles.
I wish there was a wider shot of this play, so we could see everybody else.
Then you dont throw it
You run it or eat the ball
Dont throw it to the guy with 3 defenders around him

Dak simply can't make these tight throws consistently. He's just not that dude.

Reel him in, McCarthy. Enough with the slingin' it crap.
Remember everyone scapegoated Moore. Now it is clear. McCarthy has no faith in Daks arm or brain and therefore he burns the clock 2 scores down with running plays. Genius. Dak needs to go. I turn on all the games and everyone has qbs that can get the ball down field in critical times. Dak cannot. He sucks.

And the biggest problem is it does not matter if Dak wins or loses or plays well or terrible….the consequence is the same….he will continue to be the QB for the next four years due to the payout and will go home to a luxurious mansion with butlers and maids and the trappings of luxury and opulence no matter what. Isn’t life good…..getting rewarded for garbage…..wow, would I have loved to have that deal. Guaranteed contracts are the bane of the NFL. Do you really believe if all of Dak’s money was contingent on his performance we would see this clown show??? At least he would be gone if he did not perform. It doesnt matter to him. He is rich beyond anyones wildest dreams.

Qb's are taught to look defenders off, which Dak said he tried to do. The best qb's in the game have thrown INT's trying to do this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. I understand your criticism but hindsight is 20/20.

Just bad play call, imo. Problem I saw, first to run plays put us in that position.
To soft runs for couple of yards. We had no momentum.
