Even if Dak threw the TD there. They still lose. As terrible as the defense played and pedestrian the offense was. Dak’s pic was not the reason we lost. McCarthy thought Kellen Moore put Dak in bad situations. He put Dak in the proverbial bad situation.
He wasn't the reason we won.

So they had 13 on the field?
The guy he threw to was triple covered
Some guys on this forum blaming Dak are horrible about understanding what's going on on the field. Proves to me either they never played the sport or they were terrible at it, hence why they don't understand what is happening. Yes, Dak threw into triple coverage, but that's not where Brandin Cooks was supposed to run. Cooks should have noticed the 2 Safeties covering the back of the mid-endzone, plus the linebacker cover the middle in front of the endzone. Cooks should have cut across in front of the linebacker. He would have been wide open for Dak to throw to.

Watch the play starting at the 2:03 mark...

Even of that is true, a good QB does not throw that ball
You run it or throw it away
That is Daks issue, he folds under pressure and makes bone headed decisions

hmmm, how can I explain it to you....they were rushing 4, so 7 dropped into coverage. so yeah, its possible somebody else wasn't free. most game our WRs weren't getting open in the end zone. there was plenty of that issue.

but with that said, he took a risk. I think one, Lamb or Gallup should have ran that route. they are much taller, better reach, which would allow the QB to make a higher throw and over the LB. Cook is only 5'10".

and yes, I probably would have gone to another WR too. not sure if any of them was open, but also keep in mind, that would have been much longer throw and different angles.
I wish there was a wider shot of this play, so we could see everybody else.
Nobody was open bro. Don't listen to these uneducated/never played football or understood it rabble-rousers who don't have the mental fortitude to understand what is happening on the field. There clearly were no receivers open. Plus, Cooks should have noticed the 2 Safeties covering the back of the mid-endzone, plus the linebacker cover the middle in front of the endzone. Cooks should have cut across in front of the linebacker. He would have been wide open for Dak to throw to.

Go to the 2:03 mark...

Folds under pressure? Heck, Dak was the one giving the Offense any chance. Our receivers could not get open all game long. Yes, he shouldn't have tried to force it, but they were down 2 scores with time running out, were only 1 of 5 in the redzone, plus the playcalling was terrible along with the receivers not getting open while the Oline (looking at you, Edoga) couldn't block consistently.

Lol sure bro, none of the interceptions are in Dak
This interception was more on Cooks than Dak. Cooks is a veteran. He should have noticed the coverage in the redzone and cut his route short and ran in front of the linebacker. Would have been an easy TD. Cooks did not help Dak at all.

So again, everyone is at fault, the coach cant design or call plays, the OL cant block, the WRs suddenly cant get open

Eveyone is at fault except poor Dak, the guy actually throwing the pick. Hes the only one not at fault

LOL

No matter the OC, the HC, the OL, the WR. Dak is the common denominator
