Oh you mean the teams with Phil Costa, Mackenzie Bernadeau, Nate Livings, and Doug Free on the OL and Garrett calling the plays?

Yall swore Garrett was the worst coach ever, but never bring that up in these convos
Lol let's not act like Romo wasn't one of Garretts biggest defenders, he had a part in him staying too

Romo with Daks rosters.

Easy.
Romo concievably had a better roster. Dez. Witten (HOFer), good running game, better OL. he choked in playoffs as well several must win (win and get in) games...he couldn't produce even when we had a home game and #1 seed. he was a bit wild and loose with the ball.

but right now, they are both about the same. neither has accomplished anything in playoffs. Dak still has a chance. he just has to prove it.

Neither 2007 or 2014 had any of those guys starting on the line except Free, and Free was equivalent to Steele now

All Dak has to do is win one playoff game to have more playoff wins and appearances than Romo, and if he makes it the Championship game, which looks like a real possibility if we keep the 2nd seed, then I don't see how anyone can say Romo was better. Y'all seriously overrate Romo. As of right now, I think they're pretty much the same QB but Dak has time to pass him
Dak also played a much weaker NFC East for a longer time. His stats are mostly based on that.

Man.....I recently was bored and was watching old cowboy games. Romo wasn't what yall seem to remember. Think yall focus too much on 2014 Romo (11 years of experience) and not the younger version. The one who let the nfc east run a train on us 3 consecutive week 17s. Dak would never lol
That's exactly what it is. Revisionist history. These guys talk about Romo like he was Rodgers or Brady. But if he was Rodgers or Brady he wouldn't have lost in 2007 in the 1st round. 2014 was a great year and probably his best year when they decided to actually pound the rock.

Sadly, we probably never got to see Romo’s full potential, because by the time he had a good OL protecting him, his body had already taken a battering…

They like to use the Bernadeau and Livings years to prove Romo had no offensive line while ignoring his line outside of those years lol. I'll give him a pass for not being able to do much with Bernadeau and Livings but those were 2 years out of his 11 year career.

Romo more talented, needed better coaching, if only Parcells had stayed...

Dak more disciplined, more athletic, still has to prove it but he may turn out to be the better QB if he can win at crunch time, something Tony couldn't do.

He had two incarnations of great offensive lines. IN 2007 he had Leonard Davis, Flozell, Adams, Andre Gurode, etc......and by 2014 he had Zack Martin, Tyron, etc. This narrative he never had a good OL is CRAP.
