This wasn't a turnaround season.

The previous year was a fluke season and Dak is just returning to his normal performances. Anyone paying attention to his career realizes this. Dak had injury issues that season, both in recovery and dealing with new injuries.

Last season Dak's INT percentage rate was 3.8%. Six out of the seven remaining seasons, his INT percentage was between .09 and 1.8 which proves that last season and not the current one is the anomaly.

In fact, Dak's career INT rate is 1.9% which places him in the top ten all time lowest INT rates in NFL history.

Not only that, Dak broke the record for most passes before his first career INT. The record previously belonged to Tom Brady.

Anybody out there who expressed a narrative of Dak being careless and desperate has failed in their research and fact checking.

100% right.

Probably half of those interceptions were either on tipped passes that should've been caught or the receiver running the wrong route.

Yeah, there are a lot of things people can say about Dak, but the claim that he has been a turnover machine his whole career is just dishonest. I never really understood the hyper fixation on it.

Last year was the anomaly. Something he has always done in every other season is protect the football.

Was he a pro bowler against San Fran? We need him to be a pro bowler against San Fran.
Yes, he needs to elevate his game against defenses like SF and Vic Fangio , then can be considered close to elite. Having said that I like the transformation after SF game and now he is giving us a chance in every game ( because OL run block and RBs have left a lot to be desired , Solari is a disappointment )

Funny how Hurts is leading interceptions but no one wants to mention that because he played in a SB. Historically, Dak doesn't throw INTs and last year he was labelled as such going into this year. Last year was a fluke and we all knew it. F the bias Cowboys media.
Hurts is tied for third with Mahomes for most interceptions this season - has thrown 14.
Josh Allen is second, having 16 picks to date.
Cowboys face the interceptions leader tomorrow- Sam Howell, with 19.

:hammer:100% agree with you I'm not sure why they think he needed to turn something around for one last year may have been a fluke but even in 12 games he threw 23 touchdowns his 15 interceptions may have tied for the league league but he did not lead in turnovers that would be Josh Allen but Even so he had our offense humming for I don't know six straight weeks even last year year before coming back off a broken ankle 37 touchdowns 10 interceptions I mean he's had a lot of great years I don't even consider last year a bad year, i don't even consider last year a bad year..

Are they considering this year a bad year for I don't know let's pick Patrick mahomes he's having a down year it's not his best year lot of quarterbacks like jalen hurts is this a bad year is it a down year or is it just happened to be**** happens??

But don't you know this year all of a sudden turnovers from the quarterback position don't matter they're not talked about they're not broken down play by play they're not following them in practice and counting their training camp and practice interceptions they're not showing them missing balls in Nets as if that really mattered of throwing balls at the corner of the end zone which some people around here thought it was something important that a quarterback needed to know how to do I thought we threw the receivers who have hands and also have a job to catch balls that are not always perfectly thrown that is their job if they were perfectly thrown every time you wouldn't need great receivers...

It was the most pathetic and gross display over the last year into training camp on how they followed Prescott around the national media was making the interceptions act like no other quarterback has ever thrown interceptions you know like Matthew stafford's 20 interceptions in a year he won the Super bowl and yes he threw two interceptions in the very Super Bowl they won somehow his team bailed him out he's talked about as one of the elite quarterbacks in this league but nobody broke down every game and every throw and every interception and followed the man around in practice and asked him to be perfect at throwing balls into Nets and buckets..

Other fan bases and sometimes our owner wondering why we keep talking about this it's because they made it an issue last year they literally made it a national story to break down Prescott issues even though we know just like Patrick mahomes is going through this year sometimes it's just your wide receiver group or your offense that just isn't clicking..

Most of our fan base does not appreciate our talented players.

Plus, outside of the turnovers, it wasn't a bad season. I mean, we finished 12-5 last year and we stand a chance to finish 12-5 this year. And even if we're talking about the turnovers, historic would be going from 15 to like 3.

Dak's arm talent has really shone this year. That 92 yard TD to Ceede was almost 50 yards in the air, Dak's feet off the ground when he launched it and he managed to drop it in like a dime.
I'm not sure I'd call it a dime. The defender tripped and Lamb had a chance to settle under the throw. It wasn't like Dak hit him full speed on the run with a defender on his hip. It was a good throw because Prescott had to scramble and make it on the run, but he's made throws where he dropped it over a defender to his receiver (the one to Cooks on the sideline comes to mind).
