This game against SF is very important for DAK due to his performances against them in the playoffs. If he has a very good game this week then that will give him confidence if we run into them in the playoffs

Dak looked very solid . When our defense plays like that he is more than enough .

There will be times though when our defense and everything isn’t going our way and will need him and offense to overcome . That’s when the great ones separate themselves .

And I’m still concerned with our Redzone offense which appears to be more about the new offense than our QB.

We are headed into a tough 4 game stretch , SF- LAC- LAR -Phi , which will tell us much about where this team is and headed.

The first half of season showed we are dominating against below .500 teams . Mostly.

LOL.....Church of Dak trying to sell the fantasy that Dak Prescott is a competent QB. SF is going to destroy this team.
Never in my life have I seen so many anti-cowboy cowboy fans. I have been on this board for over 20 years, and the last 5 years has brought an element of cowboy hatred from it's own fan base that would rival our biggest rivalry fans.

Prescott seems to struggle with pass rush pressure and isn't that elusive. I'd like to see him get rid of the ball, waste a down than to get pushed backward for a sack. If he's practicing against Parson, he should be used to this, lol.
He also keeps throwing delayed passes to the flats that have a high percentage of INT. Why? This is how Bland got 2 INTs.
A couple of his throws were off.

But other than that, considering the rotating door on O line, I think he played very well. Clean up a couple of things and we look decent.

I disagree on pressure. He was number one in the league against pressure last year. Not sure what it is this year but when teams hit him with a cover 0 I feel confident he will beat it.

I call that Cooper Rush Ball. He received holy heck for his lame arm and stats....but he didn't hurt the defense either. Hang on to the ball and let the defense destroy them!
I do admit in this case with McCarthy's offense it appears that Rush (aka noodle arm) may also be pretty effective. Its more about quick reads and short to intermediate patterns vs Moore who took the lid off more which Dak is far more appropriate for.

Last year was last year. The O line is not solidified this year. I'm not blaming Dak, I'm saying stop taking sacks 20 yards back.

Dak Prescott is not "THE COWBOYS" - you understand that? He is a Cowboy, a rather ineffectual one at that.

Are you implying that he was not a competent QB yesterday? Last year, if you attacked interceptions and decisions, you had plenty of ammo, but if you can’t admit when a guy plays a very good game, you lose all credibility.
He plays good games against bad teams and yes the Patriots this year are a bad team.

He didn’t “ball out”. More like “drove the bus”.
exactly. he was given a nice lead & thus faced no real pressure to be a difference maker the entire game. he drove the bus down to the red zone and pulled right into the field goal spot.

he did nothing yesterday that a lot of other QB's couldn't have done. meanwhile, Purdy is dogwalking the team that beat us senseless & posting a +28 CPOE, had only one incompletion and had a long of 46.8 yards.

that's more fittingly called "balling out"

He played really well. That white dot in the center deep was the Schoonmaker drop that should’ve been a TD. That was a dime.

The one tiny thing I want Dak to more is to make anticipation throws when a blitz comes. He took a couple sacks where his guys were open immediately but I feel like he was waiting for them to turn their heads back to him and just took the sack. I get that he’s prioritizing ball security over passing success but he will need to be comfortable doing that in a big game when it really matters
