Dak Prescott deserves more respect

Dak is never going to win anything if they keep saddling him with these 30 something ranked defenses or even relatively good defenses that can't stop a good offense, particularly one that will commit to the run. I don't think Dak is a great quarterback. He plays great at times but he needs to show up and show out for multiple playoff games before I call him a great quarterback. But I have no problem ranking him as a very good quarterback and certainly one who is good enough to win with provided he isn't saddled with an albatross for a defense. Or a moron head coach/play caller. We can hope this all changes under Schottie.. but I for one will need to see it to believe it at this point.
Very well said.

Dak Prescott's first decade in the league deserves more respect....

hahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

All I know is that I watch a ton of football, and that had always been a fumble.
yeah, the entire world was shocked by the ruling. if the wording had been in place fro a couple years, they had been ruling incorrectly all along .... so why the sudden change?

The entire world thought it was a fumble, because it always had been. Weird that they'd just changed the rule a couple years before. I was not aware of that. Very weird.

ive never felt so helpless than that Greenbay playoff game

Romo would’ve turned it into a shootout at least

Paying dak and mcarthy after that game was crazy

It’s like when your girlfriend walks in on you wearing her high heels and clomping around the house. We’ve all been there. You just cut your losses and start over you don’t propose on the spot to salvage the damage

You don't? Why not?

Take away those loaded offensive and defensive Patriots teams Tom Brady had, especially in the playoffs, then it would be fair. Guaranteed Dak would have even better numbers.

Just to be fair...
Come on AC! Now you are just trolling. "Loaded" Brady's RBs were James White, Kevin Faulk, Lagarette Blount and Corey Dillon. His WRs when they were winning SBs consistently were Troy Brown, Wes Welker, Deion Branch, etc. He made the most out of nothing. Dak has had stacked Olines, stacked WRs and a guy like Zeke. Let's be realistic here. The Pats had better Ds but the Boys in the playoffs had Ds good enough to win 12 games and failed with Dak.

I give Dak is due for playing well lately etc and for his consistency but comparing to Brady is just something that stunts the argument

Surprised no one did this one either.

Superbowl record.

*Trent Dilfer 1-0
*Brad Johnson 1-0
*Nick Foles 1-0
*Jim McMahon 1-0
*Aaron Rodgers 1-0
---‐‐---------------------------------
Jim Kelly 0-4
Dan Marino 0-1
Joe Burrows 0-1
Colin Kaepernick 0-1
Josh Allen (never been)
Lamar Jackson (never been)
Justin Herbert (never been)
Trevor Lawrence (never been)
Dak Prescott (never been)

Hmm.......
What does this matter. Dak is not Brady. Brady is GOAT for a reason. You could continue this list with 20 something guiys who played this year. It's fruitless to keep up this argument. They aren't the same. Not even close.

Pats were loaded on D and on the OLine for their super bowl wins. Julian Edelmann and Wes Welker are prolly the two best slot WRs of all time, and Gronk is the best TE of all time. Belly was smart in this, when everyone else was clamouring for WRs, he built the O around TEs, Slot Wrs, and pass catching RBs. Faulk and White were both some of the best pass catching RBs of all time.

I think the Pats learned their lesson after 07. Brady got beat up badly w/ the high flying type Os, which is still true today. Long developing routes gets your QB killed which is what happened in the 07 super bowl.

I get they had great TEs and Ds were strong but those aren't stacked teams at certain positions. The guys like Brown and Branch were putting up MVP numbers in the playoffs after "good" seasons. It is how Brady knew how to use them. It was a system. I'm just tired of the excuses. I flew to LA years ago for our divisional game vs Rams after we got Cooper. We should win games like that. We had enough. We've had enough many years under Dak...Olines we built, top WRs, RBs and with Ds who were not at the bottom but there is always an excuse. Most teams that win a SB have great QB talent overall. Miami, Pitt and Dallas in the 70s; 49ers, Washington in the 80s, Cowboys in the 90s, Pats and KC in recent times but the QB in most situation put them over the top even on stacked teams. Trying to act like we have never had the talent is just not accurate. There is a reason why there are players considered great and those that aren't
