My solution is fixing both sides of the ball to achieve balance. An offense that doesn't go missing for half the bloody game and a defense that doesn't get gutted every time you face an opponent with a half way decent running game.

Every defense when left out to dry over and over again is going to fold. Especially in a scenario where said defense was banged up to begin with. You can only keep your throwing your defense out in bad spots and short fields until they break.

With regards to 2022 - GB led 7 - 0 at the half. Was that the same as what you saw with the Cowboys game against GB? In this instance both defenses were not served by their offense and it was largely a defensive struggle that GB lost. That wasn't want we saw in the Cowboys matchup - here we saw both the offense and defense misfiring causing a compounded problem. Offense can't control the ball or get anything on the board while at the same time giving up INT's. While the defense is left to get gashed over and over again.

When you can't get over the hump in the playoffs, and this is a repeated issue, then you have a QB who isn't good enough. That's how it's always been. Neither Romo or Dak were/are good enough.

Or and most likely the correct evaluation a gm that don’t field a complete team. Dan Marino couldn’t get over the SB hump, Eli manning did twice and both Dak and Romo are and were better QBs than him. It’s about the team and we’ve lost in different manner’s every year.

Yeah, that doesn’t give you a chance to win games. It’d be one thing if it’s 38-35, but Dallas isn’t even competitive enough offensively to make it a game.

Exactly. The issues won't end with this team by merely fixing the defense. If your offense can't even generate first downs let alone points then it doesn't matter how good your defense is.
