Dak Prescott has had the 3rd worst postseason defense over the last quarter century

You can strawman and cherry pick all you want. I use the eye test. Smart and logical fans know what he is.

2023 playoff game against SF they had no receiver over 100 yards, CMC and Elijah Mitchell 3.5 yards per carry. Defense gave up 19 points.

2022 playoffs, Kittle, Samuel, Ayuk, 9 catches combined. Jimmy G no tds and 1 pick. Our achilles heel that game was debo killed us in the run game. Gave up 23 points, and I believe 7-10 of those were direct result of dak turnovers.

I know last year was bad, but gimme a break this defense gave up average 20 ppg to a good 49ers team 2 years in a row. Should have been good enough to win

Yep. Mahomes as our QB and we win both 49ers games handily. By probably 10+ point margins.

Dak Prescott has been part of the post season issues. Some seasons more than others but he isn't THE problem. The defense has been an issue as well. Coaching hasn't been stellar and at times our run game and WR core questionable. Swapping him out with another QB and still not have a complete team doesn't fix anything but the thirst for change. I wouldn't care if Dak retired tomorrow we are still a middling organization because we have won alot of games despite our GM. The problem is Jones and it always has been.

any other narrative is just trolling or lack of football understanding.

When you can't get over the hump in the playoffs, and this is a repeated issue, then you have a QB who isn't good enough. That's how it's always been. Neither Romo or Dak were/are good enough.

The issue is both the offense as a defense. We have an offense that simply disappears through large swaths of a game. You see this even in the regular season. Never gets addressed because they beat up the weaker teams on their schedule and keep claiming that they are the #1 offense in the league or some other useless stat that does not tell you the whole picture. The same applies to the defense - the year they got crushed by GB their offense was ranked #1 in the league and defense was ranked #5 - does anyone really think that ranking was accurate after seeing the performance of both sides of the football in that game? C'mon be real - the offense was a no-show in the entire first half of the game and the defense was as useless as drinking Mountain Dew for birth control.

love how the QB is always to blame for the culture of a team that always craps the bed in the playoffs

minus the ole' defense on the kittle circus catch, and dropped surefire int. yes.
Yes, that one play was going to change everything. Meanwhile the offense could muster up just 12 points. But yea, that one play is what made the difference through 4 quarters of football.

those are two plays. and yes, one absolutely, unequivocally changed everything. the other could have.
