Only one quarterback in NFL history has a higher passer rating through their first 8 games, Kurt Warner. Of course, Kurt Warner played in both the Arena Football League and the World Football League before joining the NFL.

Dak Prescott has a 104.2 rating, #1 for all passers that threw at least 200 passes. The next quarterback to be rated so highly with less than a thousand attempts is Marcus Mariota with a rating of 92.6. There are a total of 8 quarterbacks with less than a thousand passes and with a rating of 85 or better and the majority of them are in the 87 rating range. Wenzt now has a rating of 87.7.

NFL careers are full of ups and downs. Circumstances change, injuries happen.

Prescott is doing a fantastic job in these circumstances and with the health he has now. And that's all we should focus on for the time being.
