True fans follow only their 1 team, not others. That's at any level in sports. Of course, sports is merely entertainment.

Funny...

I can watch a lot of football games over the weekend and still root for a team to win even though it doesn't affect my "primary" team.

If sports is merely entrainment, what makes you a fan of one team and not the other if you don't actually live in the state "your team" plays for? Honestly, I could never figure out why people follow college football teams if they never actually attended that school in the first place LOL.

I live in the state my Cowboys reside in. I follow the college team I went to college at. Totally destroyed your false accusations.

Don't disagree with you at all.

Question becomes what do you do with a highly paid QB who doesn't win the Super Bowl for you? Isn't the idea of playing in the NFL "to win the big one"?

Dak is a good QB no question, just as good Romo was IMO. Thing is, in 6 years, Romo was 2-4 in the playoffs and Dak is at 1-3.

To be fair, of the 12 highly paid QBs only 4 have won a SB (5 have been to a SB) and 2 of those 4 appeared a decade or more ago ( Rodgers and Wilson).

The only thing I've "accused" some people of is following college teams where they never went college at and following NFL football teams in a state they don't reside it. End of the day, big deal, it's just "entertainment" and I just find it interesting how "loyal" some people seem.

I follow my Alma Mater because I attended college games there as a student and graduated from that college as well (which is not located in the current state I live in). Thing is, how many people follow college football "religiously" of teams who NEVER attended the actual school of that team? I'm certain a bunch.

I've lived in more states than you have fingers on your hands before I settled into my last state for some time now. Does that mean I HAVE to follow the team that plays in the state I reside in? Does that also mean that if you've never resided in the same state on whose NFL team you consider yourself a fan of, you are not a "true" fan? News flash, I'm certain there are plenty of Cowboys fans who have never lived in the state of Texas. Don't take this the wrong way, but other than the hill country, don't particularly care to live or retire in that state, but that's just me.

You brought it up as a way to ridicule me. I answered you honestly and showed how wrong you were to falsely accuse me of such. I wasn't referring to others. Simply correcting you on your false accusation.
