Winning the number 1 seed and playing in the playoffs is good. In Dallas it is cause for celebration and massive contractual rewards. It is exposure and relevancy. It is Jerrys face on the front page. It is accomplishing the ultimate goal.

Sounds like he may need a HC who is also an OC, who has experience with QBs.

Like I said in an earlier post, I'm skeptical Mike McCarthy can play this dual role here. But, he has history with Favre and Rodgers in this role, so maybe it will be for the best.

Very frustrating that a superbly written piece in a thread opened by Khiladi highlighting the deficiencies by Dak Prescott was locked yet there's countless biased threads opened and remain live jazzing up his empty calories. Embarrassing.
It's redundant, though, when the same posts are regurgitated over and over and over. Like people enjoy living in an echo chamber.

Dak isn't going anywhere. And it's difficult to have a conversation when it's Dak, this, Dak that...

Why that is so difficult to understand, I don't know....

I agree he isn't going anywhere ahead of next season but after that he will hopefully be released for the good of the team. The greatest good for the greatest number - Jeremy Bentham.

People are immensely frustrated because the roster is loaded, as it was last season and well the season before really. The NFC was weak last season and up for grabs, as it is this season, yet we are kneecapped at QB.

We are a QB away from the Superbowl which is why so many fans remain heavily invested in the team yet deep down they know that unless Prescott is carried like Trent Dilfer, they will fall short again.

Hater? Your of course already! You can post all the stats you want they don't win superbowls. If dak don't throw throws interceptions in the 49rs game last year, we win and most likely beat the eagles and go to the superbowl not saying we win it.
I'm sorry but that's not true at all in the first interception Gallup ran a bad route didn't make an effort to get back but saying that if he doesn't throw those two interceptions we when that's not a fact at all that's not how football works by the way I believe both those were thrown in the first half we had all game to mount a comeback make some stops and it didn't happen why Dalton Schultz 2 mental mistakes on that one drive with three minutes left believe it was the next to last drive Trayvon diggs not making two plays he could have championship defenses make those plays they also gave up a long drive of about 5 yards per carry on the ground what's 8:00 o'clock is great as the defense played they did not play championship football they did not seize every opportunity they could to keep the score even lower so yes Prescott gets some of the blame but explain how it is that Matthew Stafford can have 20 interceptions in a season two in the Super bowl and his team won explain how Matthew stafford's two interceptions didn't lose the game I've seen Troy Aikman have interceptions in the Super bowl and they didn't lose look man you can guess all you want you can blame Prescott all you want we've seen mistakes happen in games especially early on you have the rest of the game to win it didn't happen because the team failed the team failed to win.. But I'm glad you think that your opinion and you're guessing if those interceptions didn't happen that we win the game is a fact when it's not because I've seen games in this last playoffs I mean how is it that Trevor Lawrence's team he threw 4 interceptions in the first half and they won that game I saw Josh Allen have three turnovers and a fourth that rolled out of bounds so you didn't lose the ball on that fumble they won that game how is it that other quarterbacks can make mistakes in their teams win explain how you think that without those interceptions which are part of football mistakes happen you know pressure in Prescott's face routes are not ran wrong this happens in games unlucky bounces we had no run game either explain that 16 run plays at 3 yards per carry in the first half and two yards per carry in the second-half you're trying to tell me that that's not also a reason we lost the game

some of you are clueless when it comes to total football when it comes to the team concept...

there are proof all over even just this last playoff series with other teams that the better teams typically win the game, even if they make mistakes..

San Francisco is a better team than us, they forced those mistakes, and Prescott did not have a run game, his offensive line did not play well, and his defense did not seize every opportunity that they could to win the game...

that's a fact, you don't want to read the rest,

I'm saying you are wrong because you can't edit history you can't say if those two interceptions didn't happen we'd have won the game...nope

Ok, I'll bite. Romo could easily succeed with Troy's teams, but Troy would have been maimed by year 3 with Tony's teams.
You dont know that nothing about Romo and Troy are the same, Romo and Troy had much diferent approaches to the game..what Romo did well is not what Troy did well and vise versa... Romo wasn't known for his exceptional timing and running pratice like an overlord, could he even handle an ego like #88?

Apparently you've never heard of Dez Bryant.

Romo would have had the same results no matter what players you put around him from any era. You are what you are, and Romo was a choker. He would have blown it with the 1990s Cowboys because he isn't on the same level as Aikman when it comes to clutch in the playoffs.

Unless, of course, you understand football...

Romo wins 4-5 Super Bowls with Troy's team. Troy get physically pounded into submission behind Romo's offensive lines because he could barely move even when he was young.

Romo threw much better deep balls than Troy and was more accurate.

It's all about timing with NFL careers. Troy got lucky, and Romo didn't.

Dak is a good qb, but he is not winning us a S/B sorry. He is good enough in the regular season to get us to the playoffs that's it. Let's see what this year brings. I have been trying to be positive about this team since the 90's and its the same losing outcome. You tell me what will be different about dak this year than the last?

let me fix what you were trying to say he will not win a super bowl on his own , but please don't bring that mess in here when we've seen worse qbs than dak make or win sbs, take those false narratives it's not going to work in here.

This crap on Aikman to make Romo look better needs to end. You guys can’t be serious. Romo more accurate than Troy is a joke.

I'm going to take this opportunity..to ONCE AGAIN...state...for the people that incessantly bash me for being a "dak hater"....and i have said hits MANY times...

Dak is good enough for us to go to and win a super bowl. He does...like any other QB....need a team around him of course. He does need to play well and try to avoid critical ill-timed mistakes.

The Ultra Dak Crusaders will...conveniently...not see this reply.
