Dak Prescott just needs 4,725 yards to become the Dallas Cowboys' all-time leading passing leader

Dak needs the best of everything for them to even consider him good enough to win a Super Bowl. Really just shows how little they actually think of him.
If he needs the best of everything then they sure have done a poor job of doing it. Mazi Smith and Terrence Steele is the best of everything? Or Damone Clark? Crazy….

Serious question: If you had to choose between Aikman, Prescott, and Romo to be the QB of the 1992 NFCCG vs SF in SF-which would you choose to give the team the best chance at winning (just pick one)? Why?
Any of them would lead that team to a SB. Did you watch those teams? Physically dominant in the trenches. They imposed their will on teams.

He led the team in TD passes last year and was NFL MVP Runner-up.

Not sure where this 7 TDs in 8 possessions came from, but practically 14 pts were given up by the offense. When you go down 7-0, then give up a pick on your own 12 yard line which turns into a TD, hold the team to two field goals, only to have a dagger of a pick 6 happen to turn the score into 27-0, that’s significantly a fault of the offense as much as the defense.
I agree , they are both at fault . It doesn’t matter who’s at fault the worse. Neither performance is probably going to win in playoffs. The rest is just talking points.

Neither Romo or Dak are made of the stuff that Troy was. He was the unquestioned leader of that team and he didn't shrink and panic in the big moments. Neither of them would have gotten past SF.

We probably aren’t winning games with 2 int’s and a pick 6 but neither are with defense giving up 7 TD’s in 8 possessions. They’re both momentum killers.

We’re more likely to overcome that offensive futility than defense. Teams have won with pick 6’s and multiple int’s but probably not giving up 7 TD’s in 8 possessions.
They were like a paper bag defense. I know I had one over my head.

Yea, Aikman wasn’t a bus driver . And some of his best performances on the bigger stages which is a common denominator for the great ones.

You’re entitled to your opinion. You probably weren’t around then and don’t know.

It will never be enough. He wouldn't win in KC. He wouldn't win on the Pats dynasty teams, he wouldn't have won on the Rams a couple years ago, he wouldn't have made CGs on the Niners, Bengals or Bills, he wouldn't have won with the Manning's Giants or Broncos, or Russ's Seahawks. He's a choker. The lights are too bright.

There is no proof-lots of hot sports opinion. Romo matured much later in his career when his body had basically been spent. He had many anxious moments on the big stage in his early playoff career as we all know.
2014 was his most impressive performance in the playoffs. That offense was probably as good as we’d seen in years . Maybe enough to finally at least get us to a championship appearance . Shame we didn’t get to see more of that but he never started in post season again.

I think that’s taking it too far. We simply don’t know if on better teams might have gone further . Pure speculation.

I disagree. The SF game required extremely good ball placement from Aikman. The Dallas offensive line was getting dominated much of the first half. Dallas made SF pay for turning the ball over on a wet day and did not turn it over themselves (though they came close a couple times). The passing game helped set up the run game later in the game. Lots of very close plays throughout. Not a dominant performance-even Jimmy has said how close the game was after the fact.

I really don’t think we’ve had a championship team this era. And probably not a championship QB either.
