Whatever a tattoo "means", I think everyone can agree it's meant to reinforce some idea to onself, a permanent marker (scar) that is meant to remind oneself of some memory, promise, idea, notion, grievance - and perhaps communicate that to others.

In other words, it's therapy. Mental therapy. I'm not saying it's good or bad, because all known examples of both.

This feels...bad.

What are the implications of idiot Millenials valuing their tattoos over their posterity and/or professional legacies?
dude, they don't care, it makes them cool.

I just wish I could dress up in all black, wear some tats, get a grill, and have my pit beside me in my lowrider. I'd be cool, but no I got a stupid opossum custome.

I'm not qualified to put Dak on the couch, but...tattoos aren't going to cover over interceptions.

Dak puts too much stock in his faith and will power. For sure those things help but...he over-indexes
Do you even know what the tattoo's are of?

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was shocked to learn of the procedure.

“I certainly didn’t know he was under for 10 hours,” Jones said. “Just so you’re clear, I had no idea about tattoos. I better get up to date on it. I had no idea that required that kind of sedation of any tattoo. It further explains to me why I don’t have a tattoo.”

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged being surprised that his quarterback went under for 11 hours, but McCarthy said that when Prescott explained to him that the sedation was supervised by medical professionals, he accepted it.

“He’s extremely conscientious and he had a lot of people there,” McCarthy said. “It wasn’t like just one guy, him and the tattoo guy. It looked like a professional operation.”

why didn't he inform the head coach and Jerry?
this pisses me off.
You have to think of the team and coaches and owners.
I think I hear the sound of a team lawyer scratching in a new contract term for the Cowboys.

I can't even get any dreads glued to my bald scalp. pisses me off. I'd get the good dreads, not the horse or mule hair. All-natural Asian hair.
People covered in thousands of dollars of tattoos are of similar mentality to the e-thot. The level of self-obsession and deeply seeded insecurity these people must feel is difficult to imagine.

Like he's trying to mentally reinforce something or bury some pain through life-threatening tattoo procedures. My boy owns 2 tattoo shops so I get it, but...what he put at risk and seems to be continuing to put at risk for tats...I dunno...

It was of his brother who committed suicide and a Pegasus to honor his mother who has passed away.
I'm not sure how this considered to be bad.

And for the record both CeeDee and Pollard had tats under anesthesia, though not as long of period.

That will literally be the argument if they lose tomorrow.

They act like the players don’t get a life outside of the building
May as well. We’ve seen Cabo, hat turned backwards, girlfriend, and golf blamed on the previous guys lack of playoff sucess.

tough being Americas Qb under the constant microscope
