People covered in thousands of dollars of tattoos are of similar mentality to the e-thot. The level of self-obsession and deeply seeded insecurity these people must feel is difficult to imagine.
And yet.....Jerry feels compelled to build a franchise around this dope.

Wow. Reading through this whole thread has me convinced that we need some real football games to discuss.

He is a human being, he has a life.

There was nothing in contract barring this or requirement to tell Jerry or anyone anything, Jerry's concern aside. He is much more than an "investment".

Do you even know what you sound like? Seriously, do you?

Players are human beings, not investments. An investment can be made in them, but they are not an asset to be bought and sold.

I noticed a theme with all the QBs you point out who didn't have tattoos. And one with whom you didn't mention.

You clearly have some issues in your life that if as a fan you feel the need to make the comments you have about another grown man paying his money to get tattoos, especially ones that were done to honor dead family members.

Y'all take this fan stuff way to far.
what? Again, captain obvious. "players are human beings" ...and circles are round. Did you have a point? My point was this was not his personal but impacted his professional life. It threatened it. Perhaps you've never had your services valued that much - but when you do - something seemingly private activities can become scrutinized by your employer and they can restrict those activities. Or discourage them. Or use it as leverage to move on from you.

You cant just keep trying to spin your way away from what you've said. We all saw it. Just stop while you have a shred of dignity left. Enjoy the win.

Speaking for everyone is an indication ...that you know your argument is weak and needs seconding. Read the last paragraph if you need to see how obviously unnecessary it was for you to point out that we are "all human". On so, so many levels...you are correct...because you're reaction was all too "human".

I’m not gonna question the toughness of a dude that tried to knock his dislocated ankle back into place on the turf after his leg got mangled a couple years ago. He gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

LOL all you have is some sort of false pontification to make yourself seem intelligent but then when called on it you double down and show everyone how truly ignorant your arguments are.

And before you start in let me clear the air for you.

1. Saying everyone saw your comments is not speaking for everyone, this is a gross miscarriage of what was said, and you know it. So don't try to use that spin.

Here is a quote from you "I think everyone can agree it's meant to reinforce some idea to onself, a permanent marker (scar) that is meant to remind oneself of some memory, promise, idea, notion, grievance - and perhaps communicate that to others." Were you speaking for everyone here? What gives you the right to do that or the authority to do it? See I didn't read it as you were really speaking for everyone, just typing a sentence out that sounded good in your own head. So before you try to spin what I said into speaking for everyone, well, maybe your post was how did you phrase it....

2. No, I didn't call you ignorant I called your arguments ignorant.

3. You are the one who said and I quote "I also don't remember Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman or Tom Brady needing body tats to throw dimes on Sunday."
Interesting isn't it. Out of all the QB's in the league you bring up 4 QB's of a very specifc amount of melatonin in their skin who do not have tattoos, yet do not mention one with different melatonin who does have tattoos. I will let everyone else decide what that means, I think its pretty obvious though.

4. I've not seen you, or anyone else, mention anything about tattoos on any other player for the Cowboys until this article surfaced, then you make this whole deal of it must be him dealing with grief, no... not dealing.. you insist it is him burying his problems. Articles about this one 10 hour session have mentioned that both CeeDee and Pollard have gone under sedation for the tattoos and yet not a peep from you that they must be burying problems. Why is that do you think? Again, I'll let others decide that, but I think its obvious.

5. You have shown yourself for who you are. I am done with this conversation.

Well, again...english is not your forte. I don't think it's from a lack of intelligence...it's a lack of character desperate to make cheap points. Each attempt leads to another attempt to salvage sub-par self-esteem.

"I think we can agree" - is not speaking for everyone. It's kind of like saying, "I think we have consensus"...I'm inviting anyone who does not agree to speak up. At any rate, no one would see that statement as dogmatic.

vs. your statement:

"You cant just keep trying to spin your way away from what you've said. We all saw it."

You LITERALLY HAVE NO WAY TO PROVE, SUBSTANTIATE OR EVIDENCE THIS POINT. It's clearly a desperate attempt to argue from popularity. If I need to explain why these two are not the same, it makes my earlier point: To not know the difference is to not know difference....which is why I keep having to put your pathetic character in its place.
______________________________________

I suggest you stop while you are behind. I started to amend my statement, but then I knew some person desperate to make a point would find fault with my post.

I am a black man...if you need proof ask a few posters around here who know my me and my stances. And no not a self-hating black man, but the kind of black man confident and objective enough to revere Roger and hate Quincy Carter. To support Dak over Romo, but will also take Patrick Mahomes and Caleb Williams over Dak. I'll take DeShaun Watson over Dak.

Like I said earlier in the post, the rot starts within. Stop trying to make side points and stick to the subject and make a point. My criticisms of Dak STAND.
