@shabazz is just playing dumb for whatever reason. This is how he copes with what's going on lol.

If the Cowboys felt like he does about Dak they would've rescinded their offer and started Dalton. But these guys will sit here and try to convince those with brains that this means they have no faith in him even though Dak is the one who turned them down and betted on himself.
I've always found @shabazz to be very clear in his intentions.

Wait this can't be. I heard for a fact on this board, there would be no franchise tag. Not once, not twice but multiple times, that you were an imbecile if you even considered, if, if, if you dared have the thought pass through your mind, he would sign a franchise tag. How dare you, how could you have a different opinion. The audacity.
yeah but they still say a contract will be done before deadline.

and Magnum was not a cowboy fan lol he was mainly a baseball fan lol.

So you’re basing it off one season? Would you like to base it on his career? Because a lot of people didn’t show up last year my friend. Only guys trying were Dak and a handful of others. They quit on the coach brother
yeah not a dak fan, but I think the team did conspire to get rid of JG, and they had to miss the playoffs for that to happen.
The one time they played for real was the LA game where they just IMO wanted to beat them good as a payback for the previous game
with them.
They played great, then went back to playing poorly.

Could it be that dak masterminded getting rid of Romo and JG and the whole staff except kellen and 1 other coach?
Funny because many felt JG sandbagged wade, and now later on his players sandbagged him and his process and mantras.

He'll be in camp this year, regardless of what happens in terms of getting a new contract. Now, the onus is on Dak to prove worthy of whatever it takes to earn it. Hopefully, things might work out well for all concerned. It'll surely require some give and take on both sides for that to happen, imho.

He had no choice. He was always going to sign it. 31 million vs sitting out the season for no pay? He would never make that money back. Signing now is just more of what he has always been...a team guy. And he knows a QB has to be with the team and preparing.

Signing it protects *him*. Locks in his money for this year.

Maybe it will. But the point remains the same. Sources on this board laughed at the thought of franchise discussions, much less a signed franchise tender. You were banished as a fool for even thinking the horrible thought of a franchise signature.

He now better prove he is worth what he is asking.... wonder what made him sign it

The thought of 31 mil that he would never be able to recoup going down the tubes if he didn't sign it not to mention that his endorsement deals would also dry up just like Bell's did when he sat out.

You mean Garrett didn't have the authority to bench Dak.........or start Romo in 2016 when healthy................OR

Maybe the team knew Dak wasn't the anchor???

Dak Haters come out and play.....
It was well known the coaching staff was not a fan of Romo and how he was constantly changing plays at the LOS since Linehan couldn't run a decent offense. But you saw what happened to the team every time Romo came out so they didn't really have a choice. As soon as someone proved they could actually play at an NFL level came in of course they were not going to let Romo back in. That's why they denied his request for a fair and open competition for the starting QB position.
