You will be laughing at the end of the season like the last 3 when Dak sucks again and again and again and again and will disappear for a month or two then come out with more excuses and blame for everyone except Dakchoka. You and your ilk deserve this it’s a shame real Cowboys fans have to suffer through more years of Dak. Sad day in Dallas history

There's a diff between making the play-offs and having a real legit chance at winning the SB.
When you look at the cowboys team the last few years, they just weren’t good enough against the elite teams, it’s not just the qb. Games are win and lost inside the trenches, that is the key.

I could see that from the Cowboys’ side. But from Dak’s side, this is close to a retirement contract; he probably has one more smaller one after this. Him being older may be the reason he’s unwilling to start over on some rebuilding team somewhere else
Oh I'm sure he asked for it.

My guess all along has been the no-trade clause was a sticky point in negotiations, so I'm hoping they didn't give it to him.

This is great news. Now there's no doubt as to how our post-seasons will end. More of the same at a record breaking price.

Only the intelligent people here will understand this. The dumb *** people here truly do not understand this.

I'm not a fan of that type of contract for Dak, but we really had no choice. The QB draft class next year is trash.... Dak isn't elite, but he still is a perennial top 10, All-Pro, MVP candidate quarterback who has accomplished these things without a functioning running game, as of late. Zero

He has to elevate his play and so does the rest of the team then maybe we can advance further in the playoffs.

Cowboys fans root for the Cowboys.
I agree. And the details have not came out yet. I doubt the 240 is all guaranteed. I didn’t want to roll with Lance this year. I don’t want to take a step backwards. We know we have a team that can make the playoffs and yes we have won a playoff game with Dak. Playoffs are full of evenly matched teams. We had no run game.

I have just heard 231 or the 240 is guaranteed. Thats 57.75 per year. About right for the next man up.

Explain Greedy please.
Didn't need that much per year pay. $54 mil or less would have been enough to help the team have some extra cap space to help keep another player or two. Instead, Dak got super greedy! All the lies he said this offseason about how he didn't want to become "highest paid" were nothing but straight out lies!!!

That sound you just heard was all of the Dak haters simultaneously jumping to their collective doom.
LOL, more playoff fails for years to come. They paid a guy the highest contract in the NFL who chokes in the playoffs. Fans are going to be upset when they can't surround him with elite players, and he needs elite players. Dak's skills will most likely decline before this contract runs out. Next year should be interesting with Parsons contract.

We’ll find out soon, both scenarios plausible. I think his agent has some weird pride stuff going on so there may be things in this deal that raise eyebrows.
I agree. If Dak does get one more contract it will either be a short one here or he can end his career as a bridge starter on another team in 2029 or whenever.
