Guys I’m done. See y’all in 2028 if I’m still alive.
Dude... they will resign him then as well if he still has a lot of endorsement deals.
The days of Dallas ever making a Super Bowl died in the 90s. They are just in another mindset.
It is all about staying the most valuable franchise, by utilizing the name, and all the buffer companies
they have around the franchise.

He's older now though, so I think it would foolish to give him or any quarterback his age a no-trade clause.
Well with Jerry, we can't exactly go by what is foolish or not when it comes to managing this team. I mean some would think it is foolish to not go all in, in the draft and free agency, and draft for the future not to win it now, and then extend an older quarterback.

Let's move on guys. The die is cast. The only issue at all is whether he has a no trade clause. Beyond that it no longer matters. We have what we have and it is what it is.
That's what I'm thinking. Going to try to enjoy the games today and hopefully we get a W and hopefully the new contract gives Dak unbelievable confidence so he can actually beat a good defense. lol!!

That’s how it’s going to have to go, but it would have been that way anyway.

They have to draft better than they have lately for it to work.

Even if you’re of the thought that they “draft well,” it has to be better. They sign absolutely no impact free agents and can’t keep blowing the 2nd and 3rd rounds the way they have been. Those players need to have more of an impact or it’ll just be more of the same.
This year's draft class looks really promising, but I'm with you. They're going to need to hit home runs every year to make this work. I'm sure player acquisition will be similar, but I worry about player retention. Who are we going to have to let go of in the next couple of seasons? This deal is going to compromise what was starting to look like a strong young core. Tough to stomach right now.

This title drought goes back so far it includes the last five years of Troy Aikman's career. This team last won a Super Bowl when Dak was three.

It takes a team and a coaching staff, not just a QB. The Cowboys have struggled to achieve that ever since Jimmy Johnson left. You can blame Dak all you want but the crux of this team's failures start and end with the Jones Boys.
It's about the money they are paying to a QB who chokes in the playoffs. With Dak, Lamb and next season Parsons contract good luck on building a team. Yes they haven't won a Superbowl in almost 30 years, but that doesn't justify paying a QB the highest contract in NFL history that chokes in the playoffs. Your right the Jones boys are the problem and this contract is another expample.

Huge relief we got him extended. Was starting to doubt it was ever going happen. It’s going be a fun day watching most of this board meltdown over his new contract. It could be a double meltdown if the Cowboys lose to the Browns.
Congrats, I know your excited. He better whip some *** in the dog pound today

It would've been more exciting to rip the band aid off and truly rebuild by drafting a new QB but now we'll just have to hope some miracle happens the next 4 years.
At least we’ll be mediocre

Just in time for him to crap the bed in a few hours.

Finally.
Look at the bright side, at least you can stay with your agenda of bashing him every day. Had he left at the end of this season you would have nothing to post. You would’ve had a find another hobby.
