Holding out hope he gets traded?
Unlike you im a fan of the Cowboys not a Dak jock sniffer

This franchise is paying him 60 million/y to win a SB or 2

If he succeeds, great, i will have absolutely no issue with the money paid

If he fails the next 2 years, just like the previous 8, that will be 10 years of failure. Absolutely i would want him traded at that point

Only a complete buffoon would want the player to be in control of that decision and not the Cowboys

I know this logic is too complicated for you

Everyone was right. Jerry is just all about the money.
Funny how the CeeDee and Dak contracts have been front and center in the media for months and then BLAM! Jerry punctuates it all on opening Sunday with a record setting contract for the QB everyone loves to talk about.

Because this team is so incredibly deep and talented they can win a Super Bowl without the QB that passed for 4500 yards and 36 touchdowns last year.
Without that guy they would have an extra 60M to spend on talent and keep in mind 2000 of those yards and 15 td's were against the Giants & Commanders,

with that said I hope Dak kills it, starting with Cleveland.

Go Dak, Go Cowboys!

I don’t begrudge players getting their bags but Dak is selfish and overpaid but I am so smiling inside.
All offseason this place has been a beacon of negativity for those who prefer to put things behind and move on

A handful of folks whose sole mission was to make this place devisive

You were wrong and I guess you can continue to be a malcontents or get behind the team you say is your favorite

Here we Goooooo!!!

In terms of what the cap was in 2020 compared to now, Dak actually got just a 1.1 to 2 percent raise. He's not taking up any more of the cap than he was for years now.
I’m more saying it from a team standpoint. It’s too much for a guy who has shown nothing in big moments and whose window is closing. No reason to give him close to this. It’s like Garrett but a player. Can’t quit him. Made more sense to play it out and see.

The agenda is to win
Not his agenda. The dude never shows up when we win. He wanted the team to lose so they would move on from Dak. A lot of fans have that agenda.

The 28% won their Super Bowl today.

The rest of us will just have to wait another 7+ years.

Death of a franchise (if it wasn’t dead already).

They purchased their relevancy and we have no shot at winning anything.

Nice job Cowboys.

You paid a guy who has played nearly a decade and has accomplished 0.
Well, he’s taken a lot of Jerry’s money.
That’s something.

How do you know that. Did you talk to him?
It's common sense as the Cowboys will win diddly squat of any note in the play offs with Prescott at QB so either Parsons plays football with a genuine ambition of playing in a Superbowl which means leaving the Cowboys or he stays which by default illustrates he cares more about how much money he earns.
