Ain't that the truth:
Lol
Ain't that the truth:
Bro, are you going to support or keep bashing? So Dak will be 35 by the time this contract ends, I dont see him playing past that. So I guess we can be glad that this is pretty much his last contract here
how exaggerating that is he's never gonna be worth $10 billion... Jerry wouldn't sell the team to himself for $10 billion right now... The team would have to be up for sale even if we're using hypotheticals here you exaggerated because first it has to be up for sale has to be approved and I'm not sure what the Cowboys can get for this team but it's probably gonna be around 6 billion to 10 billion billion not million these guys are millionaires nowhere close to what they could get into this league for.... Maybe you should start a go fund me page and get working on thatOne more contract extension and Dak will be able to buy the Cowboys
Ain't that the truth:
If Dak hit the market in March he would have cost even more. Some desperate team probably would have offered him close to $65 M apy. And what if the Cowboys fire McCarthy? No coach would take this job with zero quarterbacks signed past this year on the roster.I’m more saying it from a team standpoint. It’s too much for a guy who has shown nothing in big moments and whose window is closing. No reason to give him close to this. It’s like Garrett but a player. Can’t quit him. Made more sense to play it out and see.
And the salary cap is projected to go up $30 in 25 and another $30 in 26.The deals for Dal and Lamb can be restructured to open cap space. This team can re-sign Bland, Parsons, and Smith in the future. They are now clearly operating in a four year window and any rebuild will have to wait until Dak and Lamb can be moved on from.
At least now the team has a plan and a direction. They weren't getting a QB in the 2025 draft that could replace Dak and they would have probably had to pay him even more if they waited for next offseason to do this.
Before jumping, let’s see how many playoff wins he’ll get? That’s the first test. The second will be can he make and win the big show? That sound you just heard was all of the Dak haters simultaneously jumping to their collective doom.
Possibly the last QB for Jerry too.So Dak will be 35 by the time this contract ends, I dont see him playing past that. So I guess we can be glad that this is pretty much his last contract here
NoYou still here?
You're not much of a historian. One of the stupidest things Jerry has ever done just behind running Jimmy off
As if they should? The worst QB in the history of playoffs? His regular season performances absolutely merit the extension and I'm glad we're not looking at entering the Trey Lance era anytime soon. That said, gotta advance in the playoffs or the criticisms will never stop.
some may have been wrong about him being re signedYou were wrong and I guess you can continue to be a malcontents or get behind the team you say is your favorite
New year, new results.Only problem is it’s not Dallas it’s the opposition that benefits from Daks stellar performances in the playoffs
Both...you already going back on your word?Bro, are you going to support or keep bashing?
You know... cuase is isn't about the money... / sarcasm.lol. Can’t wait to see his response to this.
Kirk Cousins says helloSo Dak will be 35 by the time this contract ends, I dont see him playing past that. So I guess we can be glad that this is pretty much his last contract here
