This franchise is a joke. Jerry has killed my enthusiasm. I hope the Cowboys goes down in a fiery ball of flames this season. I really do.

Rambo will be along shortly to tell me what a contender we are though. Ha.
And Rambo will be right.

I would imagine they could, and we should be able to keep Dak, Lamb, and Parsons. I just wonder what the 49ers will do as Purdy's agent is going to push for at least $65 mil probably. Especially with how expensive California is.
Maybe but did Purdy win rookie of the year at quarterback, has he put up an MVP type year, yet?? How does he claim that he should be the highest paid quarterback in the league I mean we saw CD lamb could have held out for more and got the money jamar chase is looking forward to be higher paid than Justin Jefferson but he didn't how do we know that Brock Purdy doesn't take 58,000,000 because he wasn't gonna have the skins on his wall to claim that he's been better than the team around him he didn't elevate the team the team could have elevated him...hmmm

I mean he's been playing on an all in fully loaded team and I'm not taking anything away from him but what has he done that's more special than what Prescott's done his whole career Prescott had many career years had his offenses in the top three almost on a regular basis many top #1 rated offenses last year we had the highest scoring offense in the league and yet what is the narrative around here that Jerry Jones doesn't do a lot to improve the team through free agency he doesn't do a lot to improve the team on a yearly basis in the offseason that he's happy with just winning so our GM and our owner doesn't do a lot and yet Prescott still finds a way to have some of his best years..

So how is it Brock Purdy has somehow on Prescott's level when we're talking about he should get way more why he's on a team fully loaded I mean that is the narrative around there is that he is the benefactor of playing on a team that all you gotta do is find one of many options the ball too.... The complete opposite of what every off season we hear around here and in the media that Jerry Jones doesn't know how to build a championship roster and yet somehow our quarterback has found the way to have career years you know he's doing more with less technically./...

Well, the only thing that comes to mind is a quote from Colonel Kurtz:

Horror has a face and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies.

I guess that's that.

I wasn't excited for the season but was hoping they would show restraint and at least have some hope for future.

Unfortunately, Jerry does exactly what we all feared.

Made it much easier to go golfing :)

Unfortunately this is what have you done for me lately league and Purdy has had more playoff success than Dak even if his team is loaded or has a better coach. Agents don’t look at that. They see this I what my client has done for you guys and wants to be paid accordingly. Now he could pull a Brady but there are not a lot of guys out that have super models wives that make more than them.

They or you didn’t question the teams lack of success . They or you pretty much spent the offseason blaming 1 person in literally every thread on the board . Had it been more equitable perhaps I would look at things a bit different

Sorry not sorry the Dallas cowboys are my team regardless of who’s behind center

And what you think of me as a fan will not have me losing any sleep. Now we can come together and root for Dallas success or we can continue this

Choice is yours

Can you elaborate how Dak is better? They don't have great playoff success. I guess you could argue that Dak is healthier? Their regular season stats are VERY similar. Both don't do great in big games or the playoffs.
THIS!

Doesn't really matter. It's more of a question of what the agent and Purdy think they can get.

And that's ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see who that guy is that said that but anybody who wishes this team just because they don't like the owner ,they don't like the contracts ,that we go down in flames and somehow proud of that ???!!!

need to be deleted immediately, that's ridiculous no real fan with wishing bad season on the Dallas Cowboys!! NEVER!

we follow the Cowboys we follow the players we're got to star as our pride we follow the people wearing the star, not the ownership ,not the contracts t,his has nothing to do with money and you have fans on here now hoping that we do bad what I'll tell you what kind of thing not a fan!!!! Those are some of the dumbest responses I'll ever see in the media is fans wishing that we're gonna have a bad season because they don't like how the ownership has ran the team so they'd rather be miserable and have the team look bad just to show the owner? That's ridiculous it's absolutely insane that's not why we watch since when his contracts and how they handle contracts have anything to do with football there's a team on the field for 2024 doesn't matter what they make it doesn't matter what their contracts are we support the damn team not the ownership and the money...

It’s pretty easy to see Dak is better. He’s 32 games over 500 in the regular season, while Cousins is only 9 games over 500. Dak has more division titles and playoff wins. He has a higher career passer rating than Cousins. Cousins never got a contract extension from his original team and was allowed to walk, while Dak has just gotten his second big extension from his original team. Cousins is playing on his third team and they have so little confidence in him they used a top 10 pick on a QB. Not wasting anymore time with this. Dak has been extended and some of you need to get over it
