That doesn't change the fact we have a lame duck coaching staff I mean nothing has changed all these players were coming to play game one this is just new deals for the future but this did not undermine this offseason because they were all under contract do you not understand that you're trying to make this a thing that it never really was and most of us all said calm down because these deals were gonna get done and Micah Parsons will be a Dallas cowboy so all the drama in the news if you wanted to get involved with the posturing and how negotiating is being done that's fine but that's on you that's not on Jerry that's not on the ownership you could be upset on how they handled it but we do know this Jerry would not have used this extra money because he didn't do it during Prescott's rookie year he didn't do it while he had all these other players on their rookie deals he wasn't gonna go be an all in super aggressive & a bunch of free agents no matter what so why is this somehow affected the offseason it didn't at all that's in your mind..

Truthfully. When you look at it. It’s a good move. You get him thru his prime years. Plus dak keeps his nose clean and stays out of trouble. You really can’t put a price on that is todays pro sports world

What I have a problem with, is the amount of dollars he’s being paid and also that it wasn’t done early in the offseason so we could have signed some quality free agents.

Maybe but they brought Purdy win rookie of the year at quarterback has he put up an MVP type gear yet I mean he's been playing on an all in fully loaded team and I'm not taking anything away from him but what has he done that's more special than what Prescott's done his whole career Prescott had many career years had his offenses in the top three almost on a regular basis many top #1 rated offenses last year we had the highest scoring offense in the league and yet what is the narrative around here that Jerry Jones doesn't do a lot to improve the team through free agency he doesn't do a lot to improve the team on a yearly basis in the offseason that he's happy with just winning so our GM and our owner doesn't do a lot and yet Prescott still finds a way to have some of his best years..

So how is it Brock Purdy has somehow on Prescott's level when we're talking about he should get way more why he's on a team fully loaded I mean that is the narrative around there is that he is the benefactor of playing on a team that all you gotta do is find one of many options the ball too.... The complete opposite of what every off season we hear around here and in the media that Jerry Jones doesn't know how to build a championship roster and yet somehow our quarterback has found the way to have career years you know he's doing more with less technically./...

And I think these last few years where our O-Line had started going down hill (the additions of the 2 new starters are going to help ALOT). Along with little or no running game and having one WR that is good have actually helped Dak get better as a QB as a whole. Now having what looks like a better O-Line and some better RBs and emerging WRs are going to go a long way for our Offense. Now stop the run and we are cooking.
