Not comparing the two. Just remembering that when Aikman was drafted, an interesting point was made that he graded out being tied with Elway in overall scouting grade. Something like 7.5 out of 8 was the scoring outline. Yes, Elway could run/scramble better.

Aikman was an option quarterback with Oklahoma. I still don’t understand how Switzer was planning to play him. Aikman running the wishbone was strange.
