The team either could have traded him for a lottery ticket or build the team around him. As we have seen those lottery tickets don’t usually cash out. Cowboys could have went the Giant/Washington route and struggle for years looking for a franchise qb.

Hes only as good as his supporting cast so making him the highest paid player in the NFL is just beyond moronic.

Dak's our guy. Gotta ride with it. The Cowboys start the season without uncertainty and can focus on having a great season. And they will.
