Signed by Cowboys Dak Prescott on a four-year contract, $240 million extension

Everyone who thought this was a rebuilding season. lol Jerry doesn't rebuild. He has to have the team relevant.

Wow. All that money for winning absolutely nothing in the playoffs.
Same can be said for 2 time MVP league winning Ravens QB Lamar Jackson ...

..just shows .. " Leon can't do Every thang . "

Just in time. Now Dak can put the team on his back and lead the Cowboys to a great regular and post season. Let's go!!!

Over paying on the downhill.
They purchased their relevancy and we have no shot at winning anything.

Nice job Cowboys.

You paid a guy who has played nearly a decade and has accomplished 0.
and is not even as good as he once was, which was never really that good.

Just about every starting QB in the league could have achieved Prescott's stats, given the same teams Prescot had to work with.
Most would have even gotten past the divisional round.

This is simply just another sad day in recent Cowboys history

Nothing more, nothing less.

Imagine taking a guy who had 8 All Pros at his disposal and threw for 88 yards and 2 INT (1 pick 6) in the 1st half of a home playoff game, IN YEAR 8, and deciding to pay him more than anyone on professional football history.

That's the culture of low expectations and failure that Jerry is responsible for.

The good news is, I'm becoming numb to the disappointment. Had this happened years ago I'd have probably been angry. Now, I expect it. Time to sit back and watch everyone get their hopes up, only to have their hopes eviscerated in grotesque fashion come January. (If we make it that far)
