Played a hell of a game. Secured the ball. Made tight throws. Played what was given to him against a top-5 D.
19-3. Last year people were jumping off the ledge after the Minnesota game, let alone the two Giants games. We just tonka-smashed a great D.
A Dez drop and a Butler drop lowered his stats, but his stats were still on par with QBs such as Rodgers, today. Even better.
Yes, the Giants O is pathetic, but our Dak is not playing against the Giants O. It's their $200 mil D he's playing against.
Our O was amazing, all things considered (without getting into how badarse our D was) . But lookout, Dak made no major mistakes tonight, and this was a good D squad we beat.
G'un be a nice season. And Dak is gonna lead the way. These "ledge" threads and "Dak played bad" threads are hogwash. Pure hogwash (without going after their OPs).
he played it safe. he was pressing at times. despite 61% completion, he left a lot of plays on the field. I don't think he was accurate, where he placed the ball for the WRs. few examples, including the Beasley great catch. he missed throwing in front of Williams on one play, where the DB knocked the ball, because Williams had to slow down and reach behind. ON the Butler throw in the middle, he should have lead him, instead threw to the numbers and DB reached in and knocked it. On couple of the screen passes, Zeke had to stop to catch, instead of catching on the run, on the end zone throws to Dez, he was high on couple of them. its just the ball placement was way off.
but also, on a few throws,, he placed it exactly where it needed to be.
my expectations are he is either a good QB, who will struggle with accurate ball placement, but be safge and throws no Ints....or if he is truly elite, then he needs to be elite. all the little things count.
