I’m not here really promoting Dak as I am providing more sensible perspective where more fans probably are in an attempt to squash the Dak trolls. And I see they have finally joined us on this page.

The Cowboys are stable. They will be be stable as long as Dak is in Dallas. Stable does not mean that they will be good. The team will remain a one and done type of team that does just enough to give fans a false sense of hope.

It's best to wait another 8 years before making that assessment being Romo played 14 years verses Dak's 6.

That said, Romo & Dak are the ONLY quarterbacks after Aikman to win a playoff (s). Of those 10 in between quarterbacks, not even the great Drew McQueen Bledsoe won a playoff. What's that tell you?! It takes a very good quarterback to win against hideous coaching staffs.

Hopefully Dak won't be wasted as Romo was. Because I doubt we'll see a 3rd consecutive decent quarterback at center when Dak is finished.

We have been so blessed at QB its unreal.

Dak : 4th round pick
There are teams that spend multiple 1st rounds picks on a QB that bust. RG3 for example.
