Patrick Crayton got wide open…..too soon?Brown could not have been wide-open. I heard he's a jag. Jags don't get wide-open. So quit making things up.
LOL-JK.

There are 39 threads on the first page of the fan zone that have nothing to do with Dak.Wrong! It used to be a fan forum, now it's turned into a Dak forum.
We are going nowhere with Jethro and this dysfunctional ownership. Dak is a product of it.Or Burrows, Allen, Herbert, Mahomes.....you gotta be in it to WIN it and we are going nowhere with Tier 3 Dak!
Put Burrows, Herbert, Allen, or Mahomes, under center for us and see how your and the rest of our fan base's attitude and expectations change towards the positive faster than you can say Dak Prescott lol....We are going nowhere with Jethro and this dysfunctional ownership. Dak is a product of it.
Our toxic atmosphere they’d probably fail too here.Put Burrows, Herbert, Allen, and Mahomes, under center for us and see how your and the rest of our fan base's attitude and expectations change towards the positive faster than you can say Dak Prescott lol....
Once we all get past the pros and cons our franchise qb presents what we all should be able to agree on is he’s enough to build around and enough to deliver a consistent playoff contender.
Yes, we’d much rather have a Rodgers or Mahomes but the reality is there simply aren’t enough of those caliber QB’s to go around. And we should be more comfortable with one of the QB’s in the next best group.
Much like the Cardinals appreciate being a playoff contender again than a 4-6 win team looking for a franchise QB.
Any team with a franchise qb in this best of the rest to above average should feel fortunate because it brings some stability and foundation to build around.
The rest is up to having a better front office and coaching staff to build around your franchise QB strengthening up other areas of weakness.
You appear to be missing my point . It’s not promoting Dak . Simply spelling out our reality. You remind me of Phineas Burley, a kid who never won a bike race in our Neighborhood and was always content to say his bicycles was so swift and maneuverable.
If I had known about Certificates of Participation I would have made him one.
But here is your COP. It has a smiling photo of Dak throwing a 7-yard pass in a checkdown.
Over the second half of his career to this point he has provided neither stability nor competitiveness.
Injured three years in a row. One embarrassing playoff appearance.
Don't shoot the messenger. It is what it is.

Dak was coming off an injury last year, still had a good start, hurt his calf....that type of injury lingers and will affect performance as well as play calling. He did have some poor games....was it all on him or did the poor line performance and injuries to Zeke and Pollard have something to do with that? Coop missed games, Gallup missed games, Cee Dee was third in drops in the NFL and Jarwin was out....many factors....at the end of the day, Dak is the face of the offense and needs to take a step forward this season. Hopefully, we can stay healthy and our OL steps it up, so that we can see what he can really do.

That’s not my ambition but I’m arguing it’s Jethro’s priority and prob much of the league. This is a business first. And it’s tougher to promote and sell with a losing record team. A playoff caliber team provides stability. If all you desire is competing for an occasional division championship and have no ambition to make noise in the playoffs, sure, Dak is good enough for that.
My target is much greater than our QB.I see.
Then we are still brothers from different mums.
Soon he won't be even good enough for the above as things change......If all you desire is competing for an occasional division championship and have no ambition to make noise in the playoffs, sure, Dak is good enough for that. don't expect anything more because you're not going to get it.

Fans forget Jethro’s priorities in his own words are relevance and interesting. And Dak provides that.
That’s all our owner needs to promote , hype and sell hope. He did the same thing with Romo.
That’s all Jethro has to do is just keep up with our division. Making the playoffs keeps the pressure off of him and the revenue juggernaut going. The only reason Dallas made the playoffs last season is because of how crappy the NFC East was. What happens if those other teams start improving their rosters? How will Dak compete when he doesn't get to bomb away against the Eagles practice squad scrubs twice a season?
Could be but until that happens don’t expect changes. And I’m not sure why we’d think any changes would matter. If Dak turns into an injury machine like Romo did he won't be providing any stability whatsoever. But I think the majority of his issues last season were mental, not physical.
