Dak saved the season

I never argued for not against who’s better.

That’s what makes it even more silly. We hold Allen in such high regard but eh literally makes more mistakes than anyone. They both have more turnovers than Dak. Mahomes I get he can throw 20 picks he’s shown what he does in the regular season has no barring on what he does on the playoffs. But Josh Allen turns over the football at a rate like no one else except maybe Anthony Richardson.

But that’s besides the point. My argument isn’t who’s better or who makes the most mistakes. Actually it’s not even an argument it’s a question. Do we expect we expect every pass to be perfect? What is an acceptable amount of mistakes a guy can make or can he not make any?
Allen is put in a situation where he will make more mistakes as he basically carries the team. He has largely been the run game behind at best an average/bad offensive line. If the Bills had a standard QB then they probably wouldn't have even made the play offs in recent years.

So when he was 14th highest paid before new contract it was ok to be average ?
That's putting a positive spin on it though.

After Prescott's present contract has finished he will have averaged $50 million a year over the previous 8 seasons.

How many quarterbacks will have earnt more than him during the same 8 year period by that point?

Very few.

Dak did what he always does......... came out ice cold and puttered around for 3 quarters. He just got lucky the Steeler offense is a total mess and couldnt move the chains. I think they were something like 2 for 13 on 3rd down.

I know . He almost gave it away but in the end he saved it.

With our upcoming schedule with Det and at SF we would have been staring at 2-4 and probably 2-5. Season over.

But 3-2 saved the season. At least for now. And you could tell by our sidelines and coaches reaction . They know how tough it would have been.

3-3 will be much easier to swallow at the bye. And even 3-4 keeps you in WC hunt. I’m telling ya Cowboy fans. Tonight’s win saved the season. And we couldn’t have pulled it out without him.

Bash him all you want. He may cost us games and playoffs, etc but Tonight he saved the season.

Good night Cowboy fans. Enjoy the win!!
I worry more about McCarthy than Dak. When Dak jumped on the fumble, didn't McCarthy call a timeout with like 35 seconds left? I'm surprised no one is talking about that. We have two plays left, why are you calling a timeout with that much time on the clock? He should have let it run to 15 seconds, or forced the Steelers to call TO.

Had the Steelers not wasted their timeout, they would have had 15 seconds and a timeout. I know, slim chance, but there should have been no chance.

Agree. The general state of clock management by a number of Head Coaches in the league is horrific.

It's not even difficult just basic maths/common sense.

We’ll see in 4 years. But my hunch is the Cap will continue growing along with Market Price contracts and in 4 years Daks salary will be middle of the pact much like it was this year (14th highest) before resigning.

Unfortunately QB’s contracts aren’t necessarily a pecking order but rather an indication when they signed their latest contract.

I have no problem with the MM timeout . After the fumble regroup . The most important thing is discuss what play will work to punch it in . A FG does you no good down 4 .

How does 2 terrible INT’s a strip sack fumble and an intentional grounding get overlooked in “ saving the season “ 5 games in ?

Well, then go get concerned about them. We're talking about the Cowboys.
I understand but the bigger point is the Cowboys aren’t an isolated situation. It’s a problem or issue throughout the NFL.

No - ABSOLUTELY NOT. He lost a fumble and threw 2 egregious picks, the first ending a sure TD drive. The season was only in jeopardy because he put it there.
