Dak should be given two more seasons after this one to win

Personally I think he will be the starting QB through 2026. I don't see Cowboys paying 49 mill next year so his contract will be restructured pushing money into the 2 extended years running through 2026.

You sit there and accuse people of being Dak over Dallas fans yet the only person who is constantly attacking the QB is you. No one was pulling against Rush. I did not lie you flat out told me before the season how I would change my tune about Dak after this team failed and went on about how we would be 500 or less.

I dont care who the Bengals added, if the Bengals had added Trey Lance they would not have sniffed the super bowl even with all of the other players they added.

For me its the opposite, if you were willing to ride with Rush who is not as good a QB over Dak over your feelings for Dak despite whats better for the team...your clearly a "Dak feelings" over team guy.

sure did, liked that the backup QB won games has not happened for this franchise in a while, but simply put either you think Rush is a better QB or you think Dak is.... the offense is better with Dak and its a pretty big jump, this is in black and white record for offensive production, so again either you can deal with facts that go against your feelings or you cant...but your desicion doesnt change the facts..pretty simple.

He’s incapable of acknowledging the good Dak does and focuses on an incompletion or an int even if it’s not the QB’s fault. The vast majority of his posts are hate on Dak. after you cut your QB for losing playoff games, what are you going to do to a defense thats averaging 250 yards rushing against in the playoffs? I may like your plan i just need more information.

Unfortunately,there is nothing the cowboys can do about dak as far as cutting or trading and I'm not saying that they should,but if this team fails this year,as cowboy fans,we are doomed for at least 3 more years.dak will be 30 soon,they need to invest in a premium pick QB,imo,and God forbid he has another meltdown like he did last year.

The way I talked about Dak? he is the starting QB of this team you nitwit. Yes I wanted him back anyone covering the game or had a clue about this game knew Dak gave this team a better chance, however I never came down on Rush and was happy to see him have success along with this team. No one in their right mind have said they felt Rush was a better QB than Dak. So yes I looked forward to his return to the lineup.

I'm comparing him to Derek Carr who I think is in the same range as Dak talentwise he was benched and is going to be gone after this season, this is Carr's 9th season. Dak in his 7th season threw the same amount of INTs as Carr this season in 5 less games. I'm not saying get rid of Dak now but if he doesn't win this playoffs or the next two it's time to move on. He'll be 30 next summer no team really keeps a QB for 15-20 years that doesn't win it just doesn't happen. At some point you have to show you can win a Super Bowl, that is the entire point of the game not regular season wins or TDs.

Dak is better in nearly every career % stat. Winning, Completion, TD, INT, and passer rating

The Cowboys melted down last year for sure Dak included, and if we are going off that game we all need to pray it was a few moves that they made this offseason that will make them play better in the playoffs...BUT there is no denying that if they do not fix the run defense they have shown in the playoff loses any QB change will just be giving everyone a diferent name to blame for a loss that will come along with 250 yards rushing against in a playoff game.

Can we stop with this QBs win by themselves nonsense? Derek Carr has had nothing but one coaching and OC change after another, and usually cursed with a bad defense. It's a team sport. Fans simplify it to just the QB for their own convenience. It's easy.

Even Tom Brady hasn't won by himself. It's no coincidence that he had coaching continuity, and a top 10 defense, for years at New England.

Or it could be his fault that all these coaches don’t work out for him. He is the common denominator. Mac Jones was good with same coach last year.

Rush needed to provide more offense but he didn't turn the ball over except 3 times all against a team with 3 losses (despite that he brought us back and we only lost by 9) but he would be better than he was now his second best receiver was Noah Brown he didn't have Ty Hilton or Gallup.

Then Dak comes back and he's been a turnover machine.

Turnovers are killers in this league. Dak might play great in a playoff game but throw an INT at the wrong time and we go home and have to wait until next year. I would be shocked if Dak threw 0 INTs in the playoffs because he couldn't do it against some of the worst teams such as the Texans.

He can prove me wrong. Why doesn't everyone have this mentality? Why have a build in defense flex for Dak? He is getting 40 million dollars per year and you don't want him to earn it in the playoffs? What is wrong with you? On what planet does that happen?

In a logical world we would all agree that Dak needs to prove his worth in the playoffs where it matters, that's not a horrible crime against Dak or hating Dak either it's just called earning your money. Us fans made him a very rich man, he needs to provide us with winning bigly.

For sure, and in the end losing is losing, all I'm saying is our chances of winning go up much more with this current team if they change the defenisve stats not the offensive ones. I would upgrade the QB if it was an option but there is less room for an upgrade at QB than there is for the rushing Defense in all those playoff loses. Lets see if they can fix it this year when it matters.

I disagree, if Prescot lays an egg in the first rd , then next year should be his last if he can't lift this club on his shoulders and carry them DEEP into the playoffs. He's had more than enough time to get his act together and if it wasn't for his injury there's a pretty good chance this club wouldn't have changed direction with the run game first and would probably sitting in 3rd place in their division because this club isn't winning anything if it has to depend on Prescot's arm first and run second.
