Huge difference, one game turned over in crucial times of the game, lost time of possession which put defense on field winded. These things matter and aren’t shown in a stat line
is there ever not a crucial time to turn it over.

the game has a lots of ebbs and flows. you go into 4th, have 14 point lead. you are expected to win that game and not give up 14. so now, we are expecting offense to score more, maybe 31, because defense couldn't hold a bad offensive team to less than 200 yards rushing.

In that scenario...according to your point all quarterbacks are frauds. Staubach had Pearson, and a Doomsday D) Troy had Michael and the greatest running back in NFL history along with a killer D, Montana had Rice, (Top Rated D, Brady had Gronk, (top rated D), Bradshaw had Swan, (one of the best D's in history) and the list goes on and on till the break of dawn. Even Dilfer and McMahon had two of the best defenses of all-times. winning a superbowl takes unified effort along with hard work and sometimes a whole lotta good fortune better known as luck...
Exactly what I mean. Can’t have it both ways. If you think everyone who doesn’t do it all themselves is a fraud then you don’t really think anyone is a real QB.

Once you get that Dak is a top 12-14 guy overall, all the contract and carry the team talk should cease. Franchise QB’s are the top 14ish guys in the league. All will get paid and almost all will need a complete team to win big. I wonder if people find all the other non-elite QB’s as frauds or just the QB of their favorite team? Strange either way.

Thats why I said if not for the option route mishap which a majority of analysts put on the WR.

All QBs have inconsistency. The stats provided indicate he’s inconsistent far less than a majority of his peers.

In Dak's 2 losses this season:

Tampa Bay. Dak QB rating was 47.2
Green Bay. Dak QB rating was 78.6.

3 interceptions combined. 3 touchdowns combined.

When Dallas's season ends in defeat, will it be the defense? coaching? or will it be the QB folding in a big game that matters? So far, it's been the latter.

If they play the way they did against the Vikings, they can beat anyone. That's proving to be a big "if", especially for Dak.

Dak is continuing his upward trajectory at the position much to the chagrin of the "Dak will never" yadda yadda yadda crowd. He's better now than he was last year and will be better next year than he is this year. May that fact continue to piss off his detractors and force them find ever more obscure locations to put the goalposts for him.
Dak is just as capable of crapping the bed as having a great game.
The Dak jock sniffers also move the goal post.
Look at his overall body of work to get what Dak really is.

Since coming back, Dak is now 7th in QB efficiency, 5th in EPA per play and the O is averaging 35 points per game.

https://rbsdm.com/stats/stats/

For reference, Dak was 14th in efficiency last year and 12th in EPA / play. Appeared fairly rusty early on but has gotten a little sharper with more snaps and appears to be returning to form.
I only care what he does against playoff teams

Seeing as a majority of NFL analysts put the 2 picks on the WR against GB I think he played plenty well enough to win last week. Even if you just put 1 pick on the WR his line is about 280 / 3 / 1. More than enough to win on the road against GB.

And yea, he was awful against TB. The whole team was - that was a clunker.

If Dallas’ season ends in defeat I won’t know what the problem was until I see the game. So far it’s been the latter (Dak)? Like when?

When your run game, OL and defense are dominant the league is littered with QBs who can do what he did.

If they can all keep that level of play then they can win a title with Dak Prescott. If at any point they can't and more of the burden falls on the QB they can not win. It's that simple because he's a fraud.
You're a troll.

LMAO.. "Look at his overall body of work.." Where would you like to start? The top 10 all time career passer rating? Maybe the top 15 all time career completion percentage? Oh I know.. the top 5 lowest career INT percentage. Maybe his stellar TD/INT ratio. Oh those are all individual stats.. Let's go straight to the career .650 winning percentage. You statement about "crapping the bed" has no merit. If you look at Dak's career you will find many more good games than bad. His games with 100+ passer rating more than double his games below 75. And here's a newflash.. sometimes guys have a good game and their team loses anyway. You know .. the whole 52 other guys thing..

is GB game a big game? or was Vikings game a big game? or was Chicago a big game?

just want to understand your definition of big game. and be ready for when you move the goal post.

his overall body of work is he has a winning record. has led top 5 offenses in the league several years. but I am sure there are qualifiers of what you want to look at in a vaccum to fit your agenda.

I guarantee you there is a spin. like games against AFC, north of mississipi, at 4:00 PM on grass. if you look at those games, his body of work is plain awful. one of the worst QBs ever

you get my point.

And they're not going to steamroll teams every week, we already know that. If we're gonna make a playoff run he needs to win a game or two at the end. Something he ain't been doing much

He'll fail every time if the burden is on him.
