It led to a first round exit brah
You certainly don't have to agree with the coaching move.
It led to a first round exit brah
Uhm you do realize Dak has been hurt in some fashion the last 3 straight years
Not really. Romo’s were at the end of his career because he was just worn out. Loved Romo. He is underrated just like Dak is.I agree with your statement even though it’s sarcasm but now we have guy starting to show a similar pattern
Hard to argue that Romo would have been rusty given the one series they gave him he orchestrated a Drive for a TD. Romo’s body had shown it was done and Dak represented a smooth transition into the future. I get why they did it but Romo would have given us the best chance to win that year.Romo wasn’t going to be ready to play until several games into the season. The last time they rushed him back from an injury he re broke his collarbone. He had a compression fracture in his back and was beat up. He was at the end of his career. Once we got late into the season it made no sense for him to come back because Dak was playing outstanding football and we were winning games. Romo would’ve been very rusty not having played most of the season. We ended up winning a franchise record 11 straight games. No team makes a change at QB when they’re on that kind of a roll.

It was the right decision.
Dak was playing great in 2016.
He played great in the playoffs even though we lost.
I hope Rush keeps winning and puts the pressure on Dak.
Ya there’s a lot of revinist history with Romo. I remember a quality 2014 campaign but otherwise there was plenty to forgetI don’t agree that Romo would have given us the best chance to win that year. His playoff/elimination game record was 2-6. We tied a franchise record with 13 wins under Dak in 2016. We never won 13 games in a season with Romo nor did we ever win 11 straight games with him. We never rallied back from a two score deficit in a playoff or elimination game with him. Anytime we got down by two scores in a do or die game with Romo it led to the Cowboys being blown out. He was too much of a gunslinger who tried to get everything back all at once end it usually led to a disaster. He would lose his poise in some of these games and start throwing balls up for grabs. He had something like 6 turnovers in the two season finale elimination games we lost. One of those games led to a 44-6 debacle at Philly. Another one was a loss to Washington against a one legged RG3. He tossed 3 INTs in that game. Dak has only had one bad playoff game against San Francisco last season and we were in that game until the end.
Dez Bryant
Cole Beasley
Terrance Williams
Jason witten
rookie Zeke
And arguably the offensive line in football at that time (2016)
Amari Cooper
Cd lamb
Michael Gallup
cedric Wilson
Zeke/Pollard
Schultz (2018-2021)
are all pretty good weapons
even Amari is doing well now in Cleveland
to say that he hasn’t had had weapons is just a downright lie
Dude has had plenty of talent around him. You may not like lamb, but he did lead the team last year in yards and receptions. He’s good.
You outed yourself when you said we never won 13 games with Romo, which we did. I also never understand how QBs get blamed for defenses not being able to stop the other team from scoring.I don’t agree that Romo would have given us the best chance to win that year. Again, I understand why the organization moved on but to claim Dak as a rookie was a better passer than Romo simply isn’t reality
Dak’s talent was average nothing above .500 teams like the Chiefs or Bucs
-Dez Bryant at end of his career that lasted how many season?
-Cole Beasley that they let walk
-Terrance Williams is below JAG
-Amari Cooper was the guy but egotistical Jones got rid of him to get back at Dak for his contract negotiations.
-The OL was good for one season and went downhill the best years for them were in 2014.
You don’t know what your talking about hater.

Romo should have started the playoffs, he was healthy and he's the vet.
He looked good in the second half of the last game. If he went down Dak was ready so there was no risk.
It was a really foolish call by some blind homers (JG) and Dak got killed
I totally disagree and am not wasting anymore time with this. I’ve given my opinion numerous times in this thread and it’s not going to change.
I'm glad you disagree, but the result is proof that you had no idea what you were talking about then or now about Dak
What’s been proven is that you remain clueless! Go start an argument with someone else. I have better things to do than waste my time with this.
After all this time KJ, you're still bitter bro? Chill out, you were wrong let it go
Bitter about what? You’re just one of those who looks for arguments. No team is going to bench a QB for the playoffs that led them to a 13-3 record, including a franchise record 11 straight wins. No team is going to bench a QB that beat Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau and Ben Roethlisberger on the road in Pittsburgh. No team is going to bench a QB that was having the greatest rookie season for a QB in NFL history. You’re one of those fans that would’ve rather lost with Romo than win with another QB. I’m not about to spend all night on this because you’re bored. Discussion over!
I thought we were talking, why does it have to be an argument?
I understand your theory but it turned out to be wrong, Dak lost badly
I don't know why u can't admit that
I'm glad you disagree, but the result is proof that you had no idea what you were talking about then or now about Dak
This was your response. When someone tells me I don’t know what I’m talking about they’re looking for an argument. I have other things better to do than waste time with this. Our opinions different and nothing we say is going to change them.
