not like dak had to buy time for witten to get open.. thank God Daks mobility didnt allow him to get sacked there
Yeah.. some reason I prefer what Romo did to JJ Watt against a covered TWill.

Respect the decision either way, but that should be for the coaches to announce, not Jerry. Especially if Jerry hasn't heard anything from the coaches yet. Zip it.

Doesn't mean anything unless we also know Romo's status.

Exactly!

Tony hasn't even practiced, he's at least two to three weeks away.

Let's hope Dak keeps on winning and we'll see what happens.

Nothing to see here.

As long as Romo is ready for the playoffs, Dak can steer this ship as long as he needs to. He is getting valuable experience and games like this grow hair on his berries :D

Come playoff time though, I want a 100% healthy Romo leading the way. I don't think Dak is ready for a string of games in a row like this one, even tougher ones. Who knows, come that time....he may be good to go. His accuracy and footwork need to get quite a bit better in the next two months.

Quick! Everyone speculate about how a 36 year old QB with a broken bone in his spine should be rushed back to start against a bad team when he just started throwing in pads THIS week!

Dak played like ****
I'm a Romo guy, definitely a Romo guy and tonight was not Dak's best night but he brought it when it needed to be done. I give the kid credit. Nothing was clicking for him, the oline wasn't as dominant this game, the running game wasn't as dominant. Defense played well, at times, well at the most important times.

I am on Romo's side on the great debate but I am super happy and pumped about Dak and how he played tonight. No QB plays perfect in every game but the great ones play great when there's a chance to win. So I feel Dak played great when he had the chance to win and we won.

Now keep in mind this is from a major Romo backer and I want Romo starting when he's healthy but I give credit where credit is due. Dak won this game for us tonight. In the 4th qtr and OT he balled out and we won.

Love it

I don't think Romo is ready and they knew that going into tonight's game.

I would still want Dak to start against Cleveland, but I think Romo starting wasn't even in the equation.

YR
Even if Romo was ready stay with Dak. We are winning

Maybe dak starts, gets us a 21 point lead and Romo comes off the bench to shake the rust off? Would make sense.

Ha ha anybody who thought they'd have rushed Romo out there against Cleveland when he hasn't even practiced in full pads yet is a moron.

This is Jerry just stating the obvious to the media.

Unless he really ramps up his participation in practice this week, I don't imagine he'll be ready for the game after Cleveland either.

6 game win streak and a 35 year old qb coming off an injury who is 2 and 4 in the post season. Yeah guys I cant wait till romo comes back.... jesus why are we contemplating hia return as a starter in a positive manner?
