6 game win streak and a 35 year old qb coming off an injury who is 2 and 4 in the post season. Yeah guys I cant wait till romo comes back.... jesus why are we contemplating hia return as a starter in a positive manner?

Because, when healthy, he's a better QB than Dak is at the moment. This is Dak's team for the next decade, but this year? I still think Romo is going to take over when he's ready. Next year? I have no idea.

Hes had plenty of opportunities to take over but when the season is on the line romo has failed to take us any further then what the 2nd round? You honestly think romo would have 1 int after 6 games? I dunno man romo has always been a highrisk quarterback that has cost us seasons. Im ready to move on. Were winning and to assume wed be doing the same with romo is only an assumption.

No, I don't think Romo would have just 1 INT after 6 games. However, our passing game would absolutely be more prolific overall. Plus, he's basically another offensive coordinator. That stuff will come for Dak and he's played miraculously well for a rookie, but he's still just a rookie who has shortcomings he'll need to work on in the offseason.

Whatever the team decides, I'll be behind though because I can understand both sides. I do think Romo is the better QB right now and I don't think that's much of a branch to step out onto.

Im just picturing romo throwing 3 picks in a game, rolling out when the pocket hasnt collapsed yet, telegraphing his handoff to zeke a year before he even gets close to him lol and a few delay of games amd wasted timeouts because he loooooooves to run the playclock down to the last second . Yeah i think romo would be a great back up.

This was explained prior to the Eagles game. Romo is still strengthening his core.

Im a huge Dak Guy but this last game gives you reason for concern. At one point he was just tgrowing the ball anywhere. I hope we don't see that again.

Even if Romo was ready stay with Dak. We are winning

I would like to think a healthy Romo could play better than Dak did last night.

I think the Eagles have set the 'book' on Dak. Widen out the pass rush to take away the bootlegs and switch up the coverages and zone blitzes. The good thing is that there is a good way to beat this, especially with EE and our O-Line. We'll need Dez as well to beat single coverage deep.

As long as Romo is ready for the playoffs, Dak can steer this ship as long as he needs to. He is getting valuable experience and games like this grow hair on his berries :D

Come playoff time though, I want a 100% healthy Romo leading the way. I don't think Dak is ready for a string of games in a row like this one, even tougher ones. Who knows, come that time....he may be good to go. His accuracy and footwork need to get quite a bit better in the next two months.
Yeah, because Romo has done so well in the post season.....................................

He played better when he didn't have Dez to throw to.......

He was just off target, throwing to Dez or not. Not like Dez was half assing it/dropping passes.

Luckily, he played better(poised) in the 4th and OT.

We just won a game in dramatic, come from behind fashion, making it 5 in a row and 2 games up in the division. Yet so many can't enjoy the win and the season, instead arguing for one QB or the other. Have you forgotten the terrible feeling from a miserable season we had last year? Enjoy the win, enjoy the winning season and let this play out. You can argue all you want, but you have no voice in the decision.

No but he targeted him 14 times and forgot about Beasley and Witten for the first 3 quarters........We looked a lot better when he started spreading it around like we did when Dez was out....

It'll be nice when the All-22 is out/someone with more time than me can watch to see if the Eagles took away those guys or Dak was just targeting Dez blindly.

To a wide open Witten. Thank gosh he didnt overthrow him.

Um, did you watch the game? How Dak got away from the pressure I don't know. Young Romo may have evaded that rush, but I'd bet current Romo takes a sack.

Jerry jones tipped his hand several times tonight. He truly wants to stick with Dak. He said pregame that they would stick with the hot hand. The commentator said he has had many conversations with close friends, etc... No whether he feels the same tomorrow is a mystery.

I like what he said that it would be Coach Garrett's call.

Nailed it on the head. Romo would likely have more than 1 interception, but I also think there is a reasonable chance we would be 7-0. I think we would have beaten NYG with him as starter, and I also think we would have won going away if he played last night. (Again, assuming full health.) I really question the agenda of anyone who thinks Dak is a better overall QB at this stage of his career or that this offense is better with him at the helm than Romo.

But either way, I'll support the quarterback no matter who it is. It's a good problem to have.

We sure beat it in the 4th qtr and OT, with 22 passes and 12 runs of all things.

I can see why you have only posted 9 times. Your knowledge is limited. You should continue just reading and not posting....Thanks.
