Dak vs. Hurts

I don’t know what quarterback could have completed that sideline pass on 4th and 20 but Rodgers. The game was really lost because Garrett played for the tie. The Cowboys had the best offensive line and best running back in the league. We should have ran the ball down their throats on that final drive then throw the ball over the top to Dez if they put 8 in the box. Dak was looking for the 5 yard option route to Witten instead.
Sorry, bro. The crooked refs helped Rodgers and the Packers all game long during that 2016 season playoff game. All game long the Cowboys were thrown flags for plays that weren't even fouls, all while the Packers repeatedly were given lots of no-calls. Cowboys easily should have won if it weren't for the crooked refs.

Comparisons are strictly a matter of individual interpretation. This is an exercise that is destined to end in futility.

The Cowboys FO decides whether or not they approve or disapprove of their talent. Fans' opinions are ignored.

Great game but I blame Garrett. We had them but how the hell did Rodgers not fumble the ball when are safety hit him in the back? Best defensive play call in the Garrett era and football gods did not give us a fumble. We are jinxed.

Yeah, I saw that reply copied and pasted several times........

Dak 7 seasons 2-4 playoff record ZERO NFC Championship game appearances ZERO Super Bowl appearances

Hurts 2 seasons 2-2 playoff record 1 NFC Championship appearance 1 Super Bowl appearance

An Eagles fan boasting on a Cowboys message board?

Takes a very special kind of loser.

5 > 1, little brother.

Dak still owns your trash team head-to-head. I know that hurts.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Yet again the weak minded one can't help but bring military service into a discussion......everyone knows what you are so best if you stop posting.
I think that comment shows a lot of ignorance or complete trolling. People in the service arent ex anything...let alone ex vet.
Sorry for the grief you been getting. Just shows the uncivilized nature.

They both have something in common now. Both cost their team an important game with a turnover. If that was Dak fumbling away a TD in the Super Bowl, half the threads on the board would be trade or cut Dak threads or Dak sucks threads. Sometimes, the other team makes a good play. You have to live with it as long as it doesn’t keep repeating itself.
I am one to not want to defend any Eagles player but they are not playing in that game if Hurts was not the starting QB. He had a great year. BTW the defense was the major culprit in that loss.

And Dak is better than Romo. Sucks to be you.
Ummm...no...but to be fair I guess you should be charging Tony rent for living in your head. He emotionally owns you and you can't let it go. That's what really sucks.

Dak's criticism doesn't come from people loving Romo or hating Dak. He's a great kid, I'd want him to marry my daughter. I just don't want him playing QB for the Cowboys because he's not worth the money we paid him which will doom us for years.

It's really just that simple.

Because no one really gives two figs about Jalen Hurts or the Eagles losing. But it is laughable to compare a guy who led his team to a SB actually had a good season, excoriate him for a fumble while giving a pass to another dude who led the league in interceptions.
Complete BS. Here we go with the carbon copy blanket statements. Lol.
I simply made a point of a double standard and you helped illustrate that.
I never gave anyone a pass. The only thing I compared was the double standard.
Same with your "led the team to a SB" comment. I can't imagine how he did it!

I notice you never stand up for the hypocrisy of fans actually comparing the two when it favors Hurts. Or, anyone but a Dallas QB. In this very thread people are comparing, just not accurately.

NOT EVEN IN THE SAME SENTENCE. ONE LEAD HIS TEAM TO THE SUPERBOWL AND COULD OF WON THE MVP, THE OTHER CANT GET PAST THE SECOND ROUND.

No that literally cost them the game. They kicked the fieldgoal after that play and literally win the game

Forget that, imagine if Dak threw that "Hailmary" pass Hurts threw, we would never hear the end of it
Just like the 2007 Romo 4th and whatever to end the game against the Giants in the playoffs? I don't think even many Cowboys fans understood that he had to throw the pass regardless - it was 4th down and time was ticking down. Oh, but he threw an int!!! He's a choker

Actually Hurts Super Bowl performance was kind of similar to Prescott’s win over the Eagles. They both caused a defensive td , but after that were outstanding. Unfortunately for us, That kind of mistake is a regular occurrence for Prescott.

Nope. I respond to the Dak haters who attack Dak for things they defended Romo. As for Dak, I agree he's overpaid, but he's here to stay for several more years. He's talented enough to take this team to a SB if he's surrounded with a better team.

You’re ignorance is showing.
Ignorance? Dak has a higher career passer rating and a higher passing completions % than Romo. He's already broken a few of Romo's franchise records and is on pace to break most, if not all, of them if he's able to stick around a few more years. Dak already has accomplished more in the playoffs than Romo did and will most likely keep improving on those playoff stats.

Who is ignorant?
