Fair point. Let’s just say this century and leave it at that…

Bottom line, the fact that we have done nothing for almost 3 decades really takes a lot of wind out of our sail when it comes to bragging about Super Bowl totals. Now I’m talking about how objective people think here…Trolls have their own unique way of looking at things lol.
I cherish those '90s rings. I was a kid but still remember them like they were yesterday. That's probably why I refuse to pretend like the Eagles have jack **** on us.

I feel sorry for those who weren't alive or old enough to remember any of the SB wins. You guys are probably hungrier for one than any of us old-timers who remember the good ol' days.

Yes Nav I am BRAGGING (lol) I got to see all of them ALL 8

I like you cherish the 3 we lost as well as the 5 we won. Lack of perspective. No one can ever disrespect The Dallas Cowboys rich history.

San Fran, Pittsburgh, New England and Green Bay have rich traditions as well. You don't hear their fans tearing down the team like our putrid fanbase does.

You have no idea where you come from, So you don't know where your going. Got damn youngins get on my nerves LOL

Why are you choosing "25+ years" as the timeframe?

What if you extend that "25+ years" to "30 years"? You won't do that because then it'd be 3-1, advantage Cowboys.

Or what if you didn't offer a qualifier at all? Which franchise has been MUCH more successful overall?

5 > 1

They're our little brothers no matter how anyone tries to spin it. Getting close and then losing doesn't mean jack **** to me.

I guess because there is a difference between ancient history and recent history....so if you having to go back all the way to 1995 helps you feel better about yourself and about Dallas so be it but the fact remains Dallas has done squat in near 30 years.

And 20+ years ago ISN'T ancient history?

You cited Philly's NFC Championship game losses from the 2000s as if it's a badge of honor for them.

5 > 1

And it's now been over 5 years since either of those teams has won it all. Philly isn't ****.

Oh I get it an Eagles fan, now it all makes sense. For an Eagles fan you're quite smart, articulate, clean, well spoken. This is a First

They both have something in common now. Both cost their team an important game with a turnover. If that was Dak fumbling away a TD in the Super Bowl, half the threads on the board would be trade or cut Dak threads or Dak sucks threads. Sometimes, the other team makes a good play. You have to live with it as long as it doesn’t keep repeating itself.
If Dak Fumbled in the Super Bowl, and put the same type of performance hurts did, people would be a lot more forgiving because he got us to the superbowl and played well. Dak hasn't proven that he can take a team to the Bowl.

Dak’s failures are repeating themselves.

Hurts didn't cost the Eagles the SB. The game did not end with that fumble. They came right back and made it 21-14.

Wilson cost the Seahawks a super bowl in 2014. The game ended on that pick. Or Steelers QB in SB 30. Those two picks lost them the game. Dare I say there is a good chance the Cowboys do not have 5 SB titles if he does not throw the ball straight to Brown. Twice?

The Eagles did not adjust to the Chiefs offense. What they were doing did not work. That is the defensive coordinator. Defense lost them that game.

Here is some irony:

The Patriots held the record for most super bowl points by a losing team. They lost to the Eagles. 41-33.

Guess who holds the record now for most points by a super bowl loser? The Eagles. Lost 38-35.

As for the question, I would take Hurts...for now. I want to see what happens when he does not have such a talented team around him.

A monumentally stupid play call cost the Seahawks that game.

Throw in the middle of a shortened field with criss crossing players obscuring the QB's vision. Just asking for a pick when you're just trying to maximize your shots at the end zone. Dumb.

Roll out your running QB and give him an isolated target running with him. If he's open, take the play. If you can run it in, take the play. Otherwise, throw it away. They had more downs than time. There was no rush. Play it safe on early downs.

Once Hurtz gets a major leg injury…not wishing it but it’s inevitable for running QBs, he will be done and back to worse than Dak. Remember how good RGIII was as a passer before his injury, Wentz….?

Here lies the rub …. It is a huge gamble to give any running qb a large deal. Even in his prime Vick missed a bunch of games too injuries and Atlanta could never win without him.
