Dak vs. other options

we went 8-8. we could not win against good opponents. some of that was that our offense stalls out against good defenses. part of that is Dak.

IF you want to win superbowls, then statistically you need to win enough to get a first round bye most of your playoff births and you need to get playoff births a lot.

we need teams that go 11-5 or better on a regular basis, so shoot for that and tell me what you think.

Going rate does not mean he is worth it or that he will carry your team to the Super Bowl. A Qb that gets 35-40 mill has to be able to make up for a couple skills positions that you won’t be able to sign because of it.

Leta do it because other teams are doing it is not a winning strategy!

Thats just the going rate for a franchise QB these days. I dont think any of them are worth 35 million. If a QB is all you got, you arent winning much. QB is just one piece of the puzzle. Certainly though, I agree you shouldnt need some 15 million dollar RB if you are going to pay your QB that kind of money. If anything was bad it was THAT contract.

Pay the QB, pay the line, pay one stud skill position player/ not a RB.
