Dak got paid big today but plaid below average. He was a bit to hasty with lots of his passes when they went on an all out blitz. A little disappointed but hoping he can perform better than what we saw to day next week.

He did better than I thought he would after the deal. Although the deal was probably done a long time ago and it was agreed to be announced at 11 am opening day to keep the Cowboys front and center

I was ok with Dak and the offense. And thrilled with the defense--and I admit I did not want Mike Zimmer. But, a great first showing.
Dak did enough yesterday, I'd give him a B or B-.

You aint getting an A+ performance every week out of ANY QB.

It was the first game. They won. He did what was needed. Then the whining still goes on. Some fans, can’t even enjoy the win without crapping all over certain players.
Other highly paid QBs did not do so well the first game either.

If you disagree with an opinion and even want to label it in a derogatory way, it doesn't bother me at all. That is, unless you don't back up your own opinion with relevant facts and information.

Nobody cares about someone else's opinion unless that someone can present strong and forceful evidence that supports the opinion.

For example, I mentioned the fact that the Browns had the #1 overall defense last season as well as the #1 overall pass defense. That means it is difficult to move the ball on them.

The Browns were also ranked #1 in preventing 1st downs

The team put up 30+ on what was ranked the number 1 defense last year and people are still complaining about Dak. You know how a team gets to be the number 1 defense? By making quarterbacks look bad. The fact that our offense looked solid playing at Cleveland with a new o-line is a positive.

I think Dak did what was needed of him. He got the ball in the hands of his playmakers. Didn't do anything stupid. He played decent. The defense was shockingly good. And I thought Zeke looked refreshed.
The Online did well considering the Browns Dline is supposed to be pretty good. Overall good game. Still rooting for the Saints next week.

Dak played well enough to help the team win. That's all you can ask from him in game 1. He didn't play in the preseason, so I'll take what we got. He'll get better as the season goes.

I have to agree, dak was just average, but he didnt turn the ball over did he? There was a strip but I dont know who recovered it.

The thing is watson was so bad, he was slow moving, and slow thinking lol, so compared to him dak looked great.
The cleveland offense was so bad, that may be the worst offense they face all season!
I hate to say our defense is great until they play another team or 2, could be they are good, but man cleveland was just awful.

I thought mid 3rd they should put their bk up qb in, who looked good in PS in the game. They also had a RB # 27 in PS who looked good,
but they didnt use him either.
Cleveland should give flacco a call, and use another qb, just take the loss on watson.

We are stuck with Dak for another 4 years, so I have no choice at this point but to root for him, and I will come game day, but that won’t make me or others a blind fan.
