Dak was below Average

A lot of fans here expect him to be perfect and if he’s not, they complain even when we win big.
59% 5.6 YPA and 85 qb ranking is not what you pay $230+ million for.
You don't like people not being happy with those stats
SUCK IT UP and DEAL

He's good. He hates zeke but otherwise a fine fella.
pretty much everybody has a player they either don't like or out and out hate
I hated TO when he first came and then mellowed a little on him as I realized the guy just could not help it.

He was solid yesterday and we won big in an upset. I’m thrilled that we got him extended and you’re not. Sucks for you.

He’s put up some of the best numbers of any QB in the NFL over his career, which is why he has the 5th highest passer rating in NFL history. He led the league in TDs last season. If you’re expecting perfect stats every single week you’re not going to be happy with any QB. You haters claim he can’t beat good defenses when he just beat the number one defense in the NFL from last season. He was pressured a lot yesterday, but he was solid and didn’t make any mistakes. Have fun complaining about him the next four years. Some of you can’t even be happy after an upset win on the road. Sucks for you.

Looked better than Burrow, Herbert, Hurts, Love & a lot of other top guys against a really good defense. I'll take it.

Dak was PFF's 4th highest graded QB of the week.
Time to put people with an insane agenda on ignore.

How is 19/32 and 179 yards with 1 TD against a meddling Browns team playing well?
Because the game was basically over once Turpin scored and Dallas was more interested in playing conservative after that point. Look at the stats in the first half when it still was a game.

Dak took care of the ball today and helped his team get a road win versus a playoff team and a defense that was ranked #1 last year.

If we are going to criticize Dak when he racks up stats in losses or mop up time, then let’s give him credit when he recognizes the defense is playing at an elite level and all he needs to do is manage the game and take care of the ball.

I wouldn't say he was below average against that defense. He was average. He made some great plays when needed in the first half that allowed the defense to stay aggressive. He also had some luck as Ward should have had an easy 6 the other way but dropped it.

Overall he looked a lot better than I expected, and have seen him look in the past vs. a quality defense.

I'd give him a B+ first half, C for the second, graded on a curve for facing a top defense on the road.

Dak got paid big today but plaid below average. He was a bit to hasty with lots of his passes when they went on an all out blitz. A little disappointed but hoping he can perform better than what we saw to day next week.
After yesterday's performance it's very apparent that the offense could have used a few plays during the preseason. The defense balled out and once again saved the day with the way it shutdown the Browns most of the day. I believe MM's defense dictated the way he called a conservative game.

Dak played exactly how the Cowboys need him to play. He was efficent. Made some throws.. Missed some throws but no turn overs. Let the D do their job. I have no issue if this is how he plays all season and we win. The less we ask of him the better IMO.

Not an informed opinion. After getting by 17 at the half and their defense playing lights out MM correctly closed the playbook and started playing conservatively. Why expose your playbook when there’s no need to? Come on man, get with it and understand the flow of the game.
Not an informed opinion. It true. Dak played badly. If we are going to succeed this season we will need him to play better than yesterday's game.

I bet if you ask him how he played, he will say the same thing. He played poorly and that is an honest assessment.

MM shut the offense down at the half. Come on man.
