Guys, Herbert was arguably a top 3 QB who wasn't drafted when he should have. Dak was a 4th rounder, so although we have hoped he would be worth the contract, it seems at this time he isn't. In a few years time when Allen, Herb get their money Dak's contract won't look as bad. Right now it is becoming evident he is not worth what we are paying and Justin is an incredible talent

Dak haters are never ending entertainment . Stafford , Carr , Lamar , have all had multiple terrible games this year . Yes Dak is top ten he’s in the 8-10 range . Putting him out of the top ten is just hate and its not based on wins or stats .

1. Brady
2. Rodgers
3. Mahomes
4. Wilson
5. Murray
6. Herbert
7. Jackson
8. Carr
9. Stafford
10. Dak
At worst he's tenth

Dak is still recovering and I'm not talking about his most recent issues. You don't just return to form immediately after a compound fracture and ankle dislocation. Let's be real about that. It's going to take 18 months to two years for Dak to fully recover.

And the real problem is that the Cowboys are depending more on Dak at a point in time where they should be taking more pressure off him with a strong running game. Unfortunately, The O-line issues added to the RB injuries make that difficult, hence the lack of offensive production.

Both Dak and Zeke and now Pollard are battling injury issues and playing as much as they can but there are going to be some obvious drop off. They will all eventually recover but for now, let's be grateful for the emergence of an elite defense and it's very critical timing.

If the title of this thread is he hasn't been the same since the horrible ankle injury I would agree. Rodgers has a bad lil toe and he is an assassin. Surely a bad calf can't account for his bad decision making and inability to hit an open receiver. I do think something else is going on though....

The INT he threw late in the 4th quarter was the worst pick he ever threw.. He never saw Holcomb standing in front of Schultz which is hard to believe after watching the replay several times.. It was an ugly finish but no harm done, we got the win. **One of the qualities I most admire about Dak is his RESILIENCE, he has dealt with a lot of pain and loss in his personal life which has made him STRONGER, I believe he will bounce back. Is he a TOP 5 QB? Is he a TOP 10 QB?? Who knows.. Who cares.. bottom line is, can he lead this team to a Super Bowl?? My friends, that is the $40 million dollar question.

Where has all the MVP talk gone Mrs. Robinson?

Shows you how little most people know about the game when they think that bum is the most valuable player in the league.

If they gave him that award for some God unknown reason they should have someone carry him to the podium to accept it. It would be fitting.

Here are the top 15 QBs in QBR. Mahomes isn't there this year and has 6 games below 80 QBR in case anyone is wondering. Honest question how many of these guys would you take over Dak on this list? How have the last 5 games changed his ranking? He's definitely moved out of any consideration for top 5 after his hot start. However, the reality is all QBs have off games, but the elite generally have fewer and rarely go a longer stretch being off. The conclusion we can all make is Dak hasn't proven he's an elite QB, but remains a very good one. Still have him among the top 1/3 of NFL QBs, probably in that 2nd tier of guys.

Sorry, you just sounded supremely confident, and I just assumed you had a much better plan than the FO endorsed by all those silly, naive fanboys. I’m all about helping the team.

Percentage of career starts in which the QB threw 2 or more INT's

Dak Prescott 15.0 %

Tom Brady 14.7%

Patrick Mahomes 12.1%

Kyler Murray 14.6%

Carson Wentz 18.5%

Justin Herbert 18.5%

Joe Burrow 14.2%

Derek Carr 17.2%

Kirk Cousin 16.2%

Matthew Stafford 20.3%

Tony Romo 19.7%

Dak's multiple INT games are not abnormally high among the majority of QB's considered good to elite. Aaron Rodgers abnormally low at around 8%.

During that same time he had his calf injury, his grandmother died. Maybe his grandmother's death is affecting him more than he thinks.

He seems completely in his head and distracted.
At this point he’s stealing JJ’s $$.

Dak is definitely in a funk. I have no idea if it’s due to the calf injury or if it’s mental. He was bad today, but we’ve seen how great he can play. Hell, we’ve seen it several times this year. He’ll bounce back at some point. I hope it’s this season. Let’s face it, the Oline and the receivers haven’t done him any favors. Dak has been off without a doubt, but so has the line and receivers.
