It will be restructured but I hope they don't. I hope that Jones and Co actually take a moment to watch. They have built a championship calibre offence and defence. yes there are holes but all rosters have holes.. this team should be good enough to go deep into the playoffs. If that doesn't play out then you simply HAVE to finally do something and cut Dak. My concern is they restructure and extend Dak too early and then we are just stuck with more dead money when he fails again.

I didn't say pay dak is the only option. your assumption is me saying not to draft a QB. I have been saying it in a lot of my other comments. we should have generally drafted a QB in the first 3 rounds every 3 or 4 years. maybe 4th round even if somebody with potential falls and we can develop. either they don't work out and we move on. or they show something and give sus leverage in negotiations or even trade. this is all on Jerry and his stupid GM moves. he cornerend himself.

and lets not pay Dak. I asked and I asked again. what's the move that will guarantee we get better. do you have any options? name the QB we should have drafted and had a chance and he was better than Dak? who should we have drafted this year and didn't. last year?

again, the alternate option has to be better than current option. change for the sake of change without proper planning and knowledge of getting better is just pure stupidity.

btw, there are only 2 elite QBs in the league. all these other teams compete every year and try to get to the superbowl. welcome to the NFL.
You want a guarantee? Don't be silly, and stop the drama.
Didn't someone ever teach you that there is no guarantee in life, except death and tax?
There is no guarantee that anything will work out better, but the answer isn't to extend Dak's contract with even more money, and hope that it works.
.
Sounds like you believe the cowboys MUST extend Dak's contract because they don't have a better option.
The only thing that make sense IN CURRENT SITUATION is to let his contract expire, let him try FA. I doubt that any team will give him what he feel he's worth.
Hopefully, Jerry will draft a promising young QB in the next draft. If Dak is willing to stay a cowboy at a more reasonable contract, great. If not, you start over with your promising young QB.
That's the best thing to do under the current situation.

SEVENTY-MILLION DOLLARS. $70,000,000. Hell, you can have 5 million, and you and your kids will never have to worry about money. If Dak has kids, and his kids have kids, and their kids have kids, none of them have to worry about money. If he's not willing to take a discount at this point, that proves beyond a reasonable doubt he cares more about money than winning a championship. I don't care what any of y'all say. It's ridiculous.
So you say 70m is too much but would it be OK for someone that makes 30K per year saying someone making 100K per is getting paid too much. People get too wrapped up in what other people make instead of worrying about their themselves. In a perfect world everyone would make enough to live on but that world is never going to come so work within in the system you live in.

so taking random shots just because I don't like something is a better way of building a winner. hey, look I have no plans, but lets try this and lets try that. I have no idea how it may be better, but I don't like current so I am changing it. way to back away once you are put on the spot. basically all you want to do is complain. even when we put the next guy in, you will find something else to complain about. you are probably one of those that will defend the next guy vehemently even if he sucks, just because you want to defend your decisions and opinions.

no guarantees you gout any ideas? any plans? ...plans may not work out, but at least have plans, with some idea how it may it may work better becauseof whatever explanation you can give !!! but nah, don't got that neither. y ou have refused to say anything, except I want to cut Dak. that's it. that's your plan!!

btw, I never said cowboys must extend Dak, but we have to have a plan to replace Dak if you don't want to extend him. got nothing!!! ok, lets just go with Rush, who we know sucks....so plan is not pay...because I don't want to, and the plan I put forth is to get worse offensively!!! fantastic plan. you just made Jerry a lot richer!!! cha ching. do you work for Jerry's accounting firm by any chance?

let him finish his contract. let him walk away...ok, lets do that.....and you maybe surprise how many offers he gets. the extreme fandom here lives in an alternate world. its all black and white. it may not be as much as Jerry would pay him, but, this is all Jerry's fault. not Dak. Jerry put this team in this position. he left himself no alternatives or choices. either he wants to draft a Jonny Manziel because hey, he sells Jersey's in Texas or go dirt cheap on QB development with UDFAs with noodle arms or 7th round flyers. if I was Dak's agent, I would be licking my chops the idiot I am dealing with.

and who is this promising young QB you just mentioned?. I like to meet the young man.

you all are so delusional.

They will restructure. Guaranteed it won’t be that. It would be stupid for them not to redo it.

I don't know how accessing the situation and cutting your loss is a random process.
Again, for current situation cutting your loss and moving on is the best answer. Companies do it all the time when they fire someone who isn't working out.
.
Dumping more money into a bad investment, and demanding guarantee for success, like you seem to want, is "delusional" (your word not mine).
.
Q: what was Einstein's definition of "stupidity"?
A: doing same thing over and over again and expecting...

what loss? when the alternative is worse than the current, then that's utter stupidity and lunacy. making a change to get worse, fantastic idea. because I don't like the current situation.
the goal since you totally missed it given it hit you in the face like 15 times....the goal is not to change for the sake of change. but the goal is is to get better. OMG, did you just have a revelation.
if you are not, then that's being stupid.

with that said, companies don't just fire somebody who is not working out. that's total bullshiet. I run one of those companies. companies dump people who hurt the company. companies fire people for doing the wrong things knowingly. company lay people off for multitude of reasons.

definition of insanity is doing something to make you worse.

and you still after all the chances been given have not produce one single even fantastical yahoo fantasy plan to make the team better. NONE. essentially you admited I have no clue and I have no plan. I just complain.
then complain away if that's what makes you feel better.

I'd never try to get better, I'd like to stay the same as the last 28 years. or is it 30? time flies when you are average, I'd be scared to try to get better. Jerry agrees with me. Stay relevant my friend.

Salary Caps don’t matter…..I’ve read that here literally dozens of times.

Make every player the highest paid at his position
No no no (you're right) but all the players end up saying is "it wasn't about the money!" lol
