Dak's Injury?

Don’t buy that at all.

Prescott was playing hurt. His ego got in the way and he didn’t want to miss another game. He should have sat out. This loss would be a lot better to take.
He needed the loss just like everyone else. Fact is the offensive line was bad and Dak wasn’t accurate. Let’s not scapegoat his injury. And even if he was on what good is he when the receivers were dropping everything?

Why is it so hard for some to admit that Dak sucked this game?

They don't want to accept the reality that is the future of our team. Hell I knew it the moment they gave him that contract. I should be happy for being right...but instead I'm pretty livid!

And the defense getting gashed.

Just an abysmal day.

Glad I worked today and missed most of it.

This fanbase is seriously tiresome. Dak is having an MVP season, has one bad game after coming off an injury and 3 weeks off, and the sky is falling.

MVP season? good season, yes. MVP, that is overstating.

depression is odd people can be manic way up one moment way down another..

it was NOT physical he said it post game it felt normal..whatever the reason he looked terrible..sorry but rush may have been better option for say the 2nd half..
Bold - I agree but I'm not buying whatever he said - obviously he's not gonna come out and say he was scared to throw off that calf.
He's a stand up guy like many others around the league that won't blame an injury for a poor performance.

Whatever the case I hope it gets fixed in a hurry.

I'm surprised no one seems to be talking about it affecting his game.

Dak played soooo bad that I cant believe that, thats the result of missing a couple of weeks - no way.

IMO I think he's afraid to push off that calf - his body language tells me he's tentative - you can see it in some of his throws.

Would love to know if he went "full speed" in practice and how he looked cause if he looked anything like he did today - they should have held him out one more week.

Dak was not injured, the whole team was injured in the head thinking they are on the top of the world so far. The game came down to the Broncos wanting it more and came to play.

Plus, I bet with all the distractions and every thing that was going on with the ceremonies, maybe the Cowboys came out and tried to hard to impress the crowd and they played a sloppy game. It was kinda cool watching them get smoked the hell out.

I did see some hustle from the players...it just was not meant to be. Ya caint win em all, yall.

Team loss, don't do the blame game. Let them figure all that out.

Next game...

Not according to MVP rankings...
I saw those odds this week. He certainly wasn't odds on favorite. The media would keep his name in it as long as team is winning but he wasn't really in the running.

Seems some people just can't stomach the fact that Dak was terrible today and it had nothing to do with a strained calf that he's sat out with for 3 weeks. He was as healthy if not more than just about every qb that took the field this week. This is a bs excuse.

The guy is what he is.

A one read QB who is very dependent on a good game plan.
He is not very accurate and lacks pocket presence.

Just because we are 6-1 doesnt makes a QB good or even elite.

You see what happens when he has to play against a good secondary with tight coverage. he isnt able to put the ball where it needs to be.
But then he shouldnt have to. Not if he were were paid 10 mils/year like every other below average QB in this league.
Cmon now - I'm no Dak "lover" or "hater" but the guy has been ballin this year - the guy has grown as a QB and has a nice command of the offense. But we all have our opinions and this why there are forums.

Not an excuse - an observation.

all those dropped passes aren't on dak .

the offense was not doing well , kellen has to be held accountable.

You’ll never get the same play from an all world, all pro, first ballot HOFer who has won multiple SBs and always leads his team to 2nd half comebacks playing with injuries. Not to mention he has zero talent around him so he has to carry the team every week. No worries though, he’ll be back at full strength in a few weeks and on to another Dak lead SB victory. His greatest leaves all former, present and past players in awe of his greatness! Move over Stabauch, Aikman, Montana, Brady, Mannings, Bress and Co. The new Legend with the star has arrived!

What you observed was poor play. What you came up with was an excuse for it. He was at least as healthy as most qbs today. It was a calf strain. Not exactly a crippling injury. Especially after 3 weeks of rest.

I hope so, cause everyone looked so bad.

So why was Dak so off? Rust and overconfidence?

It was bad, like real bad! lol. Not a typical cowboy game that we all have been watching so far.

I had to go smoke some herb to watch the comedy...it was actually fun. I did see some good stuff, it was not all bad.

Could be. Nothing was in sync today on that side of the ball. Not 100% on him, bad game all around, but he's the qb. He gets the praise when the offense is clicking. He gets the blame when it's not. He was not good today.
