He's made some big throws this year. That laser to Cooper against the Giants was a big boy, Superbowl caliber throw.

He'll need to be at his best to beat the Vikings. I'm not completely on the Dak wagon yet, but he's done a lot to win me over this year.

Official NFL rankings goes by yards.

So traditionally, top 5 defense refers to top 5 in yards allowed.

top 5 in scoring means points allowed.

So there can be a difference.

To put this into perspective, at one point Dallas was ranked in the mid to late teens in passing and rushing yardage allowed, but top five in scoring defense.
